I matched the two versions of the ride to the first scene of the attraction to show how different both Disneyland's and Hollywood Studios' versions are and how they very strangely, perfectly meet back up at one point. There are actually so many differences between the two attractions that my previous TH-cam Short I was going to do won't be able to fit them all! I'll be doing a full breakdown of whats different between Disneyland and Disney's Hollywood Studios' version of Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway soon so stay tunned!
There's a lot of really subtle differences but I really like how they did the track switch scene at the beginning in Disneyland a lot better. The surroundings look a lot more fleshed out and the longer path for Mickey & Minnie with the change when the switch gets hit makes it a lot more clear for people riding in the back.
I find it funny how at the end of the ride in Disneyland they used the same animation for goofy so he looks to the left to see mickey and Minnie even thought they’re on the right
One thing that caught my eye was the amount of times your specific ride vehicle struggled to keep up with the rest of the group. during the daisy sequence, she was already in sequence when you entered so your ride vehicle kind’ve scurried quickly into the room just before the movements started
Disneyland always loves to makes me jealous. Considering that I live in Florida, they always add even the small improvements in their rides (except Tower of Terror). XD
After watching goofy at the end facing the same way at Disneyland, it finally makes sense why they kept him facing left… Look at where Mickey & Minnie Appear the moment Goofy says, “Hey Picnic’ers!!!” Mickey and Minnie are to-the-left of the locomotive. So, Keeping Goofy saying hi to the left makes sense.
The difference between the Disneyland version and disneyworld version is how long the ride is due to the extended scenes in disneyland version whereas the Disneyworld version is short due to the building yup
It was rumored that Minnie's voice at Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway Disneyland version was Kaitlyn Robrock, given that she took over as the voice of Minnie Mouse in 2020 replacing Russi Taylor that has died. It was false, instead Disneyland version were same as DHS version, voiced by late Russi Taylor. RIP for her.
Here’s a difference in the tunnel scene the track switch in the Hollywood Studios version falls over while in the Disneyland version it spins to face the wrong direction
Wait.. so.. Disneyland's has some inverted turns? In the Dancing session you leave right instead of left? Also after entering the sing a song finale, there is a maintenance door and the tunnel which is not there in DHS? Also the singing finale is inverted. I noticed more props on the Disneyland's too.
since theres completely new animation, my theory is that the animators thought mickey minnie and pluto would be on the left like in the Florida version and weren't told they would be on the right, causing Goofy to face left for the final product
He might actually be looking out that window of the train to see them in this version to after all we’re still in a direction where he would be able to see them-
There's a lot of color/lighting differences that are really weird. (Because it makes sense for the track layout or pacing to be altered, but you would expect colors to be largely the same.)
There's quite a few differences, some of them in the Disneyland version are a bit jarring to look at and seemingly the motion of the cars are a bit jarring as well. The Disneyland version also feels a lot smaller than the Hollywood studios version. I do love Disneylands exterior and que line. It's perfect for that particular park...and Hollywood studios version is perfect for that park. So, they're both great rides, slightly different, but the differences are appropriate for the park they're in.
@@small5th not sure I caught that fact...but it would again, make the ride feel more jarring than the WDW version. Again, the rides are similar, but different in appropriate ways for the park they're in.
@@thewalkingdad68 the scene in the ocean is expanded with the squid “pulling the plug” so the sewer scene is animated differently. The second scene is right after the factory reverts to the park, in DHS they immediately go straight to the Mickey and Minnie picnic scene. In Disneyland, they proceed down a hallway with new Goofy animations as he speaks to the train. And from what it sounds like in multiple videos, each train (depending what you get) have a different script with Goofy

Sounds good 👍🏽
Like that idea very much
I can't decide which side is better. In fact, they're both the same!
Im confused WDYM 2 attractions, it's the same ride at 2 different parks
@@DavidLawrence1996 Disneyland's version feels longer in the video

To be fair Disneyland did not have to work with a pre existing facade. The ride was built from the ground up.
As well as different dialogue!
I find it funny how at the end of the ride in Disneyland they used the same animation for goofy so he looks to the left to see mickey and Minnie even thought they’re on the right
I didn’t notice that before lol
But when he waves to them, they are still on the left, right before the train turns. Otherwise, he’d be waving at a wall.
Hahaha I noticed that too! They added a bit extra goofy footage durring the tunnel but didn’t change the direction he looks lol
It's very.... Goofy looking! (Hyuck)
Luckily they fixed it as of last Friday!

Believe it or not, that issue is a lot worse in WDW's version

Still completely mind boggling to me that the ceiling isn’t integrated into the ride design.
3:02 i love that the rides got back in sync :D

I think they should’ve extended the action scene than just having goofy in a tunnel
Thanks, I was hoping someone would do this comparison.
Most of the ride looks the same! Major difference is the ending as the room with the picnic scene is in opposite directions!!
4:14 Goofy: Told you nothing was going to go wrong
Train: Just stops and gets stuck
Hollywood Studios was a shorter ride but unless it was a camera thing, the colors popped more
What a gnarly ride! I would like to get on this one real soon
4:25 -don’t you find it weird that they didn’t invert goofy’s video to face Mickey and Minnie in this version? I wonder if they’ll fix that.

For example, Disneyland's first scene is for more green, whereas Hollywood Studios is far bluer.
Are there any differences in the conga scene with daisy
What what I could tell, besides the room being smaller, no
Can't wait for the Tron coaster Shanghai vs Orlando video hehe :)
i'll be on the disneyland one tomorrow!!! looks fun🤪🤪🤪
There was different dialogue!
Indeed there was, especially when you reconnect with Goofy at the end of the attraction.
The Great Moving Ride poster isn’t at Disneyland
We don’t have to travel to Florida anymore California people
Never been to the one in Florida so I am just happy to have my favorite ride at Disneyland!
For the finale scene, I dislike how Goofy does not look at Mickey and Minnie in Disneyland.
Same but different

The DHS version is not perfect for DHS by a long shot.
ours MMRR queue line is longer than WDW
There's a point within a comment when too many abbreviations have been used, and it looks like someone sat on your keyboard.
This is too close a call!
Walt Disney world is faster
They both probably look the same.
