Yes Adrienne, I grew up sleeping with 3 layers and being 72 yrs old I still sleep with 3 layers (fitted, flat sheets; comforter/duvet) and can't seem to sleep otherwise... The room looks awesome. I just love the 2 of you!

A good thing to do with your pillow cases are to tuck the ends inside the pillow to make the case look like it is fitted. I like Israel pillow arrangement. Ultimately, you guys did a great job. Yes Adrienne, leaning opposed to hanging! I love the finished look.
U need king size pillows, those are for queen & below, which is why u have to fold the pillow cases. King pillows will make it look better because they’re longer and will go the length of the bed. And YES a top sheet under the comforter . Love the house updates!

I vote for Isz on the pillows and the three layers. I grew up with three layers. Lol! My bed is so huge and high, I can’t use duvets because they’re too small and in general they are too cumbersome for me. I like element modern quilts in neutral colors.

Fun fact: you can buy duvet clips that keep the duvet cover and the comforter together, keeps them from slipping. I also have fitted sheet clips that you put under the mattress so the fitted sheet doesn’t come off.

As I am watching this duvet cover get put in, I have a funny story someone told me once. So one day, someone I know hired a nanny and they had asked them to put a duvet cover on and found the nanny putting the duvet cover with the mattress. Craziest thing I know. It was so funny to hear this.

I do my duvet inside out so I can attach the ends (ur meant to button or tie )depending on duvet so the sheet never moves
