I did go look at a property I might put under contract Monday so pretty excited about that. I will have to look into the Puerto Rico situation, wanna hire an Italian American...lol, I could probably talk hubby into heading down there!
Absolutely love this idea to encourage your son to learn about money, investing and business. I will be taking this idea and applying it myself when my kids are older. Recommend having your son open and max out a Roth IRA.

What would you do? I want to buy my first rental or flip. I have 30k cash and another 15k ish for repairs. I'm in the trades so (just about) anything that needs to be done remodeling wise, I will be doing. Should I buy a cheap auction house? Should I use that 30k as a down payment on something else? Should I flip it? Should I rent it and pull equity for the next house? I'm not sure where to go or even begin. I'm in the midwest where everything is relatively cheap.

I live near Puerto Rico, my grandmother's family was originally from Puerto Rico (Boricua Morena). I've only visited and could only wish I had the resources and energy to relocate there at my middle age. I have to say it though, many native/locals are financially struggling due to wealthy expat inflation and other issues.
There is struggle but not due to expats. Guys like me invest and provide jobs and improve the economy

Curious why you picked Puerto Rico over somewhere like the Bahamas? They also have no income tax. Even living outside of the US, don’t you still owe taxes on money made in the US? Stocks are still taxed in the same way? Capital gains etc?
My guess is to have more US citizens move in and further gentrify the island. It's a US territory so no passport needed

Does Puerto Rico have any problems with 2A CCW?
They just recently passed a law saying that they would recognize all states ccw permits. It’s relatively new, the motivation was from the recent disasters creating many situations where people needed to defend themselves.

When i go to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 I like to experience the real thing not were rich people hanging out is over price there’s lots of better beaches than humacao I want feel real bunches of fake people when you hang out in those places like that
What you mean the real Puerto Rico? There are a lot of rich Puerto Rican's living in upscale areas. In Puerto Rico you pay more for security and good quality of life. Crime its bad in some areas so a lot of people rather to live in gated communities or in the country side.

Constructions in Palmas del mar are built far enough from the ocean compared to other ocean front communities in Puerto Rico.
