Vault Disney promos from September 2, 2002

As a finale for today's little shindig of Disney Channel promos, it's fitting to post stuff from one of my two tapes of the last days of one of DC's blocks: Vault Disney. From September 1-9, the majority of VD's programming were replaced with a marathon of the entirity of the classic Disney series Zorro. This resulted in a very strange experience. Vault Disney bumpers with Cam "Buzz" Brainhard, Zoog-era menus for Zorro, promos for ABC Kids coexisting with older material like DTV music videos from the mid-1980s, it's very strange.
Also included at the end is the first few minutes of a special titled "Learning for Life: Kids & Learning Differences". I would have uploaded this separately, but I opted not to since it's barely under two minutes.
Hope you all enjoyed the Disney Channel promos! Now I'm going to sleep.

Really? Wow. The end of an era. Every night was Zorro, ink and paint club, Mickey Mouse club and Walt Disney presents. It’s a good thing they put Zorro on Disney plus.

The network was never really the same after that. During this period they seemed to have rarely (if ever) aired any of the older Walt-era movies - let alone anything produced before around 2000 - after the network purged the block, and when Disney Channel was airing animated features it was primarily sequel schlock.

4 Weeks Prior to the Flagship Logo from September 2002 through May 2014, and the "Bounce Era" from September 30, 2002 through January 24-25, 2007.

I agree it IS a very strange experience, indeed (to see Zoog era bumpers on Vault Disney programming).
On the other hand, it seems that Disney switched back to airing the original B&W/greyscale versions of the Zorro episodes at some point (the show was colorized back in the 1990's).

Vault Disney was winding down so they were filling their commercials with current promotions from that period.

​​​​@@blondeboyworldActually Vault Disney had been airing Zoog Disney commercials since around maybe 1999 at the earliest - I could be wrong. However, back when I watched the block (I would watch it over the summer months) I definitely remember seeing commercials for Lizzie McGuire, and Proud Family littering the block's adtime - this was also around the time when the network seemed to have cut down Vault Disney's airtime by airing it at 12am midnight and ending around 6am when Disney Junior (back when it was called Playhouse Disney) would begin airing.
