- I have some new art supplies for the studio that I wanted to share in this unboxing art haul.
I finally gave in and will try jelly gouache. I also stocked up on watercolors in colors I needed, and bought some cool colors of colored pencils. And, I bought one fancy watercolor pencil to try.

A little cooking oil may dissolve and loosen the adhesive residue on your himi palette. I just picked up some QOR watercolors myself. Looking forward to trying them out. The colors you selected are beautiful.

I love my kurutaki gansi set and am really on the fence about getting that same Himi set after reading mixed reviews but the set looks so gorgeous.
@@swilliamson5279 I used it yesterday in a piece and have mixed feelings still. It kept drying and separating. It was water-thirsty as I used it. But it was so creamy and highly pigmented. I'm going to do a video comparing it to tubed pro-quality and really put it to the test. Let me know what you think if you end up buying it.
I'll love to see that comparison. It's hard not to want to have all the art supplies sometimes 😊
