Peace Walker is sadder than 3, but you need to play MGS3 before PW, since all the game is about Snake dealing with The Boss' death, and misinterpreting what she wanted.
i'm always here when i'm depressed. This game is beautiful and wonderfully sad. It cut me everytime. Silent Hill is home, Silent Hill is where we can be very happy, maybe or awfully sad.
I finished the game feeling depressed and sad. I then realized that Harry Mason is indeed already dead and the events that happened to Harry Mason like Harry meeting those monsters, etc are all just Cheryl’s imagination and in the end, she finally accepted the fact that her beloved father is already dead.
That is more than that, she figured that he is not the hero that she imagine at all. He have some vices and was just a man. And her mother was not the monster that she imagine too.
When I was a little kid my cousin and I played this game on the Wii thinking it was just a game about a Father searching for his daughter while scary monsters are chasing you. A decade later I come back and I see it’s much more then that much much more.
So relatable, years after years video game industry brings us loads of stories about father trying desperately to find/ rescue his son/ daughter(like Heavy Rain, The Evil Within), only makes me love Shattered Memories even more, cuz how much I know, he won't come here to save me, not in a hundred years.

I just replayed the game for the first time in years for a walkthrough. I first played this when it came out back in 2009. I had my brother and two younger cousins over during a blizzard home alone watching me go through the game blind for the first time. That alone is such a memorable thing to me since we haven't done that since. My cousins sadly left before I finished the game, so I saw the ending alone and I cannot tell you how depressed it made me. It still kills me till this day. I bought this first on the Wii then the PSP version. I wish it came out on current gen. I love Shattered Memories. If you haven't played it but love this song, please do play it. You can watch it too. Even if we don't get another Silent Hill game, I'm so grateful for being alive to play this beautiful series. Enjoy every moment because life goes by so fast.
I still can remember in 2013 dad came home and bought me 2 CDs one was Devil May Cry 1 and The other Was Silent Hill shattered Memories We Played this game with my dad while my sister was watching but I wasn't able to complete the game because my English wasn't good I was stucked in the Computer Room when Mechille Helps Harry to find his daughter by searching on the computer , but many years later in 2019 I downloaded this game on mobile played with PSP Emulator and completed I Can't Forget this game This Game Gave me family feeling 😭 I enjoyed playing the game , I smiled hearing *I LOVE MY DADDY* ,and I cried watching the end. Even this is 2020 I'm still searching for this games songs and behind senses. I thought I was the only one who searching for this game when I see gamers who comment in the SH: Shattered Memories I feel good and happy ☺️ to see that there is still a player take care of this game.
This music perfectly sums up my childhood 5 years (2009-2014) of torture and abuse from an evil stepdad who used his position as a cop for his own advantage. Then in 2014, he died in a car accident. To this day, I hated my childhood with a passion and wanted to start a family to basically be a better father.

And so, she vowed to herself “Im gonna love my children equally”. And she did a pretty good job with 3 kids including me lol. Anyone can truly tell that she favors none, and showers all of us with equal love.

My favourite moment might be the therapy session where you are told a story about a princess who dies under unceremonious circumstances. The goal ends up being to chose which of the story's characters are most or least guilty for her death. The twist being that her death hardly has a guilty party. She dies getting trampled by a bull, afterall. Yet, there is definitely stuff the characters, including the princess herself, could've done to avoid the situation getting so catastrophic. In the end, I can never chose which is most guilty. Sometimes I blame the bull and sometimes I put him as the least guilty party.
Anything you want taken away i just let things go. Taken becsuse it does not belong to me. And anything had expired date. God will take me in his arm. I dont afraid of losing things or lives.
The part that breaks me it's not even this song, this song feels like catarsis, the track that that actually breaks me it's ice, when harry is finally at the "lighthouse"
