That Fusion looks like a good prospect. I reckon with a bit of a pull on that rear panel the small marks in the rear wings/fenders would disappear. It might have a lot of miles on it but the interior looked much tidier than the 110,000 mile Dodge Charger...
I know they are nothing special, but I really love that gen on Malibu. I drove one as a rental on a pretty special trip and I bonded with a 2014 2LT. It seems like a really great everyday car.
We have a 03 Ram 2500 and it still is a awesome truck has 92k miles on it we had issues with the check engine says it’s the evaporate something but if you do purchase that truck get rid of that chrome and that black grill and that silver crap that will look like a one hell of a truck keep up of the good videos
You should have looked at the CR-V that was there. It was hard to tell what kind of condition it was in on the video, but they're one of the most reliable vehicles on the road. Parts are fairly cheap too because they're so common and readily available.
I haven't had luck with selling Honda's. They are Soo common and so many are for sale. And believe me, if I didn't look at it there was a reason. I go over the car list pretty good before I even go look at them.
This is a Good Advertisement for Copart. The reality is very different. We Bid a 2014 Audi A4 Quatro B8, with 74000 mi. in Copart and won for $7000. Getting the paper work the first Surprise was: The car was not in sale by an Insurance company, but was repossessed by a Lease Company. They provided to us a Release of Lien Document. Second Using VAG COM there was no history in ECM Computer was cleared out. They had disconnected the battery and reconnected again and charged. Using the Driving Cycle for Audi, in two days we got back the readings. All came green except for vacuum. Replacing the gas cup everything went in green. Contacted the Audi Dealer for services, and resulted that they change the oil 4 times in 73000 miles that’s all. There were noise from lower time chain, and we have to replace both lower and upper timing chains, guides and more. Parts $950 dealer price. Labor 8 good hours. Changed transmission fluid and there was a lot of black metal in the pan. Changed transfer case fluid and it was black as tare, both differential fluids was not much better. Replaced spark plugs and sold for $12000 just to get rid of this car. There is a reason why a car is auctioned in Copart, and in some cases you just will struggle to get your money back. The reality is that a Guy Leased a brand new Audi, abused for 4 years, dumped the car, and was sold in Copart.
those hhr ss are very rare they only made 3300 for all years total very rare and are in high demand. I had one and loved it. very quick. mine was a auto to. stick is fun o drive but the auto is quicker in the quarter mile.
They can be very rusty though, and it looks like that one has sat for a long, long time which might be a sign of trouble. Something like that is best bought only with the intention of using it for parts, then if it turns out to be savable it's a bonus...
Man, Im with ya! Seeing the potential in many vehicle's! That audi is beautiful. the hhr is rare. Myself, not a big Hyundai fan tho, bought an accel with 2,500 miles on it, had been bought new & hit, parked in a collision center for many years (indoors) still smelled brand new! Ended up buying it for $ 2,500. Brother drove it & after a few years, a roller rocker bracket broke(fixed it in a taco bell parking lot) & if I remember correctly, a girlfriend of his got jellous, swore he looked at another girl as they were leaving a club, they merged onto an interstate & she grabbed the steering wheel, jerked it real hard, causing him to crash it! Had less then 50k on it, caused a problem with the torque convertor. Was a shame! I like your video's! I NEED TO FIND A CO-PART LOT CLOSE TO ME & HET STARTED!!!
Nice job making videos of what you are doing man!. It's a lot of extra work to try and video and work at the same time. You inspired me to start my own channel where I've bought over 1000 cars from Copart now.
That Chevy Malibu... Yes it has navigation but its through on star. My gf has a 15 Malibu. I love it .....just wish it had the back up camera like that one
@UnWrecked I have watched many of your videos and I really loved it , so I'm going to visit copart in UAE this weekend and I just want to know how does the auction works because it will be my first and I wanted to buy a cheap used good condition car. I'm gonna take ur advice as you are a master in these situations AND KEEP ON 👌👌
Don't worry about the mic, it's working fine, despite the port damage, and the wind cover isn't affecting the sound quality noticeably which some do. The oil mess on top of the engine on the Chevy Sonic is pretty common on those Ecotec engines when they've been serviced in a dealer where the work gets done as fast as possible rather than with much care...
I am interested to know what is the process to get a “salvaje” titled vehicle tagged and legally running? I have a copart basic account but have not done any bidding yet as i want to know what’s involved with getting it running legally. Any feedback will be appreciated By the way, cool video
Hey man I need advice on a car that I plan on buying off copart. It says the primary damage is "Normal Wear" and no secondary damage. It only has 30K miles and its a 2015. Do you think theirs something sketchy? I bought 3 cars from copart and they showed where the damage was on the pics and description and this one doesnt? Why would a car get a salvage title from normal wear?
Genesis looks the best, but expect the bidding to go pretty high. Truck is ok, but again, being a truck the price will go up. I think the Fusion might run into a lot of work, including rear rails. Why is the Sonic even in there? Definitely insurance repairable.
Man I feel bad for whoever previously owned that beautiful A7. As for the Sonic with the oil mark that's normal it happened with my old Malibu as well. I think whoever changes the oil they just lay the cap on top of it
*i like them little genesis' those are sharp and really sporty looking cars. hope you got your #1. that charger is a little over used. the audi is nice as hell but would be a lotta work. that red dodge truck would be something to work with. if they don't go stupid bidding on it like they do most truck auctions. that 2015 chevy 2500 would be nice and still doable if it had the duramax in it that Sonic would be worth it too if you could get in it right. the dash on that one looks almost like a Mini cooper but it runs really well. and with only 16,000 miles on it you can't go too far wrong. the white 2015 Malibu would be a good one to work on too. but it looks almost like a flood car as much dirt and shit is on that motor. the only thing that bugs me about those cars is that it shuts down at stop signs and long red lights the cool thing is the smaller 12v Battery in the driver's side pocket of the trunk that keeps all the electronics working when the car shuts off at lights. A cool thing about those cars is the blue light that goes around the dash and dimly lights up the interior of the car while you're driving down the road at night. i rented one of those to drive up to Clarion PA for my dad's funeral because my tahoe was acting weird at that time and it would have cost a small fortune in gas. there is also a USB in the console to plug a flash drive into for the stereo. the aged stressed wood grain is kinda neat to look at too. the drug hidey hole behind the screen never found a good use for anything we had. ours didn't have a back up cam, guess we got the ghetto model. that one ran good too though. and they ride comfy*
UnWrecked the UK forums are a mass of dead cvt trans which in the UK does not have extended warranty for cvt trans ..... only Nissan in the US market stepped up on the warranty front . Boo Nissan uk as the car looked real nice but can't afford the gamble. Cheers again bud
Dude, you passed on the mazda 3??? They drive like a is 250 and may be a bit faster in real life conditions. Low maintenance too, oil, 100k trans flush, therm at 150k, brakes every 40k, like clockwork. Only beef is mazda hides the pcv valve to make you do an entire intake job to replace the pcv.
Some of the cars you are looking at I wouldn’t want to touch with a ten foot pole, no offense. Some of the dirty ones I suspect might be flood cars which would be a nightmare, I don’t know where this is located but ya
A flood car is normally branded flood car. Seriously most of these dirty cars are just dirty people. About 70% of cars at the yards are this dirty. People just don't take care of their vehicles
Would want the charger father in law has a 2012 that's been back to the dealer for a few sensors and other stuff. Issues issue issue. Audi A7 is tweaked dang well looks it and you'll be spending a fortune on those airbags.. vw RUN! LOL imo. Blue car has water in it because the trunk can't close on the seal.
On that truck it's stone guard antichip it's called used for bottom of stone guards for front and back bumper panel but someone decided to go crazy and put it at bottom of sides of truck
PUBLIC BUYER: BEWARE, by the time:- 1.)parts 2.) sales tax 3.) 7% AD VALOREM 4.) inspector fees 5.) title fees 6.) membership fees 7.) BUYER FEE 8.) LABOR ...is computed, YOU WILL BE IN THE HOLE...GUARANTEED ...& 100 years older
It's kind of a shame about the Dodge Ram burning oil as it could have been a cheap fix and flip as long as the repair work that has been done to the body is better than the paint that's been put over it. But it looks like it's going to be needing valve stem oil seals soon...
I wouldn't call them ignorant people... People don't wanna salvage cars because they are probably not repaired correctly in most cases. ... Even if you have certification from the state.
No, I actually mean ignorant people that don't understand an r-title. The normal ones are the people that say "you can't insure and r-title" or "r-title means is has a bent frame" and "r-title means the car is worth 1/3 of value". There are many more but I insure both my r-titles with full coverage no issue. Also, I know they aren't worth book value, so I price my cars as such, with video documentation of every repair.
Just like I thought it must be a pain in the ass.. LOL ..... Along time ago I have seen people simply roll back the odometer and make a killing, you can get away with it pretty easy when you bring a car from out of state and register it, no repairs to do no salvage title. .... But this was a long time ago probably before you were born.
The whole point of a clutch is to slide it into gear so it's a smooth transition. If you think this is overdoing it, then I guess you've never pulled out on a steep hill when you have a car right behind you?
His was a bad buy because of the extent of the damage, and not so good repair. He has said many times it was his mistake due to inexperience and not doing his research. These days he would have made it a parts car for sure and not bothered fixing it.

lol. whould you bid on nissan sentra 2017 it's really cheap i bid on nissan sentra and my winning bid was 3000$ with only front bumper damage i know you hate cvt gears😂😂😂
Shit if they have so much money and just buy wrecked cars just to fix them, why dont they buy people a car who just need one for personal use and not a project
Bodywork is expensive, unless you go ahead and learn the shit yourself! Or buy an OEM and learn to paint. You're spending too much out-sourcing the bodywork to make any kind of profit on a Rebuilt Title. Limiting yourself to the "Easy Fix" vehicles that everyone and their brother is bidding on, limits yourself to vehicles with low profit margins due to the high bids. For this guy, a "break even" hobby at best, considering the hours. The GOONZQUAD'S TH-cam channel is how to do it the right way.
Just discovered your channel, like what I see so far BUT.......the background music is SO annoying and actually is distracting from what you're saying.
Aah....ok. I should point out that I was a professional sound recordist working in the tv and film industry for over 35 years (now retired) so I kinda pick up on matters audio!! The "furry" piece for the mic. is called a windjammer. We used rather larger ones made by a company called Rycote. Looking forward to future vids !!
Love your walk arounds hope to see many more soon

What type headlamps does that Audi have can get really expensive
That MR2 is a good option cause it at some point will be worth a good bit
They can be very rusty though, and it looks like that one has sat for a long, long time which might be a sign of trouble. Something like that is best bought only with the intention of using it for parts, then if it turns out to be savable it's a bonus...

No, that was the built-in mic that was recording. I took the camera apart when I got home and the port actually ripped off the circuit board.
Congratulations on 6000 subscribers
Keep up the good work
I was there looking at the red hhr but it wasn't very good shape.
Max Overdrive 696 we're you the one I talked to?
Nah it was just me and my girlfriend there at the time. Looking forward to see what you got tho.
Oh ok. I ran into a fan when I was there lol. That was different hahahaha

By the way, cool video
That Chevrolet use porta power on that back end and it will straighten that back quarter out
The sound!
When you touched the audi engine
The Malibu is another good car good car also my mom has one, another good car nice power too! great gas millage too!
Enjoyed video
Thanks

Your vids saved me big time, almost bought a Nissan with a cvt trans. After seeing your vids done a Google search on cvt and walked away
They aren't all bad, lots of them are driving successfully everywhere but yeah, I hate them lol.

Dude! Where are you from!? I’m from PA and I saw that genesis and the mr2 on one of the auctions I was watching them
Huntingdon county

It went for way too much for the condition
What did you get? Did u see what the genesis went for if you didnt get it?
Awesome!
Good choices I think. Good luck on what ever youbid on.
Oh I got something
UnWrecked judging by how excited you are, I'm betting you got that Genesis coupe

John West yes drawn back nose job
What kind of action can do you have
My action camera is a ThiEye T5e. They are $115 on gearbest.com and they accept all GoPro mounts
Cool their a nice camera and not many of them accept go pro mounts
V6 Chargers usually have engine problems, doesn't they?
Funny how I saw the video on Friday and it was posted on a Friday in March..

What accent is that? Philly?? I've never heard this accent before!
Well when I first got to the states and experienced that OnStar crap a couple of times I started to hate it like nothing else. :D
sonics are good cars and the 1.8 auto have pretty good power, not a slow car. good bid car :)
On that truck it's stone guard antichip it's called used for bottom of stone guards for front and back bumper panel but someone decided to go crazy and put it at bottom of sides of truck
Nah it was spackle spray paint, it was flaking off everywhere lol.

I subscribed, interesting stuff and you seem cool. 👍
I imagine luxery cars with salvage titles are hard to sell....any truth to that??

Plz stop the background music 😬
Agree.
It's seriously annoying.
This...My god it's so distracting...and its shit music too!!! Otherwise great video...
hhr? old charger? nothing there is worth buying
It can't be too easy flipping cars with a salvage title....
Oh it's not. You have to have a high tolerance for ignorant people.
I wouldn't call them ignorant people... People don't wanna salvage cars because they are probably not repaired correctly in most cases. ... Even if you have certification from the state.
No, I actually mean ignorant people that don't understand an r-title. Clutch it is over doing it just need to do 5 or 6 time you do all 6 lucky to have ckutch
The whole point of a clutch is to slide it into gear so it's a smooth transition. If you think this is overdoing it, then I guess you've never pulled out on a steep hill when you have a car right behind you?
That's why norbion auto gave you frame puller for it's called a porta power for in UK for straightening a car after been damaged
choose the car at 3:54
Hhr is a good car and the fusion
DO NOT BUY A JETTA, SAMCRAC SPENT 12000 BUCKS ON JUST GIXING IT HALFWAY

Somebody could, but they test them before anybody gets to look at them.
Just discovered your channel, like what I see so far BUT.......the background music is SO annoying and actually is distracting from what you're saying.
This is an older video, in my early stages of learning to edit. I've since improved
Aah....ok. I should point out that I was a professional sound recordist working in the tv and film industry for over 35 years (now retired) so I kinda pick up on matters audio!! The "furry" piece for the mic. is called a windjammer. We used rather larger ones made by a company called Rycote. Looking forward to future vids !!
I have hundreds of videos, go check me out!
I would NEVER buy a Dodge 4.7 total shit wagon definitely a big problem with those motors
It was a 5.9
Just saying the 4.7 has major problems the 5.2 5.9 are great .
Poor audio 😭😭😭 get a better camera

You shouldn’t play all that music during the video it’s incredibly annoying when your trying to listen to your voice and what’s going on
Anthony Woerner
I’ve gotten stuck watching a video in which when the host wasn’t talking, the damn “music” was twice as loud as he was 🙉. 😯!

I went and checked out your channel. Your videos are so much better.
I mute the video, can't stand the background. I gave a dislike for the sound.
