My suggestion is so much storage, also don’t get too much other stuff! You will get so many things throughout the year! My roommates and me got so many decorations throughout the year to the point when we moved out we ended up throwing out a lot of stuff. Don’t be like us 😂
thank you so much!! I’ll be doing all my storage shopping when I get up to school so I can see what kind of space I have :) we only got a couple wall prints so far so I think we should be good there. thank you sm for the tips!
I’m also going to be a freshman in the fall but the best tip I’ve seen so far is to take all the packing off of your things you’re bringing to your dorm so you have less trash on move in day!
i’m gonna be a second year… honestly if you have bedding or furniture it will make it so much easier to leave the big stuff in the boxes. it condenses everything and helps a lot. my school specifically has a trash room and on move in/ move out we have a spot for all the boxes and everything that gets taken out at the end of the day. so small stuff yes unpacked, large stuff keep the packaging to save space and make bringing it to the room easier.

college is approaching my school goes next week you got this yall! im a college transfer sophomore so ik the struggle. when is the best time to start buying for your dorm?

@@justjesschanneloh wow im going fall 2025 i have my stuff all in my amazon list and target should i start shopping now seems like every school semester the supplies are gone its hard to tell when to shop. i love watching freshman in college im not a true freshman im a 1st time transfer sophomore and going to college will be my first time so im happy for you!! :D
Bring actual dishes/silverware and tupperware! It's not that hard to clean them in the bathroom. If you have a microwave and hate your dining hall plan, you can just make your own food and it will save A LOT more money than the trashy dining hall food. On top of that, it will be HEALTHIER too. Aldi is great if you have one!
Plastic/paper utensils is just terrible for the environment.

It’s actually a very nice Christian college! super clean and the students are really sweet, I’m excited to be there.
