Hello everyone! Long time no vlog. I plan to change that by uploading here once every week or two for now. There is some old footage I never showed + I am going to be updating on my current / near-future life much more often. It's so great to be back to vlogging! I hope you've all been well. YAY!! Dryer lint: I don't think it really matters I just think it needs to be emptied each time to avoid fire but, when I do laundry I always do it before a new load goes in.
So HAPPY that Goose is shaping up to be a good dog. The well behaved thing comes with time, a lot of tutelage and patience. I've raised 10 German Shepherd puppies into very well behaved, protective animals. You can do this! I agree with you on the lint trap thing. The person doing laundry should be the one to empty it. We are too! He's come such a long way in the 5 months he's lived with us so far. Goose has a couple of German Shepherd friends! They are such amazing dogs also. 10 of them?! I'm in awe of your accomplishment in raising every single one of them. Does it get easier each time? We're thinking to get Goose (& Leo) a puppy sibling down the road - maybe 3 years from now... not sure. Thank you for the encouragement! I'm glad you enjoyed the vlog, Wendy. ♥︎
@@LiveLoveSarahLynn The trick with raising an obedient dog is never let them get away with anything they're not supposed to do. Also remember they are in the puppy stage until they are 2yrs old. Having lots of toys for him to play with is great. It keeps him busy and less thought about getting into trouble. My Ella knew all of her commands by the time she was 4 months old and had them drilled into her by 6. She turns 2 in January. I honestly think big dogs are easier to train than the little ones.
Craig is right... 😁 We empty the lint trap before we start the load... the beginning... but I have two teenagers and they rarely take the lint out no matter what...
For your dryer question, I'd say whoever used it last, at least clean it when the loads done. I check it before and after always. But my boyfriend never does laundry so I just get to do it myself my way all the time 😆😆
After the 2 year mark they stop destroying their beds and toys and being "disastrous" dogs lol what also helps is telling them no when they do it even though they'll continue but it should end at 2 years. I agree with you it should be done once the load is dry and you're taking out the clothes.
Goose is currently 7 months, so we have quite a few potential "disastrous" days ahead of us! haha He has already made so much progress with his training though. It's so cool to see him learn & grow up.

I’m the only one who does laundry but I always empty the lint catcher before a load because then I can make sure it’s ready to go and when it finishes drying I’m usually busy emptying the dryer and then never returning 😂 Also I was stressed seeing the pets on the furniture 😂 you know me!! Haha!! And I laughed because your day was about food, chores, and Goose/Leo. Clearly not voxing me! Jk 😂😂😂
That's fair. You know your own routine & don't have to worry about anyone switching things up on you. Aren't food, chores, Goose/Leo, & YT the main things I usually Vox you about anyway?! 😂 Leo is laying on the bed with me right now while I eat. 😆
Leo doesn't like when Goose chases him. But, when Goose is calm they will sniff noses & be very civil toward each other. I have high hopes that they'll be best friend like your fur babies one day. ^-^
Next week! I mean, I already have been making it, but the video will be up next Saturday. I'm painting a giant mural on a wall in my filming studio. It's over halfway finished & I've already started editing the footage I have. 😊
I mean you have so many more subs than me. To think you dont have enough watch hours. I mean i get it. Ibthink its just consistency. Its encouraging alittle to see the begining stages of a bigger channel as i am sure this will be. Didnt know you have a vlog channel till today. Good luck
Absolutely. I wasn't posting regularly when the watch hour requirements were set in place. I'm almost 1/4 of the way there though, so after a few weeks there's a good chance I'll be able to reapply. Thank you!
Your rice making gives me anxiety but even when I make rice the way I was taught I get anxiety and some how it always turns out perfect so I’m sure it’s fine anyway you cook it. Haha
I've gotten quite good at doing it the "wrong" way. 😂When I first started making it I had a handful of batches stick to the bottom of the pot and even slightly burn. But now I'm basically a pro. lol
We both spent many hours looking through dog name lists & narrowing down our favorites. He was actually nameless for about the first 6 days he came to live with us because we still couldn't decide/agree. We wanted a name that was easy/fun to say & also fit his personality. He was (and is) such a silly puppy, so Goose fit him perfectly. Our other top contenders were Cooper, Dunkin, Maverick, & Tyler. As for a wedding date, we are leaning toward not even having a ceremony - just maybe having the two of us travel to a nice place (after it's safe to travel again) and getting the paperwork to make it official. I will definitely keep everyone updated.

😂 Craig & I are pretty good about splitting the laundry. He absolutely despises folding clothes & towels, so I volunteer for that part more often.
