@@d-evolution1309 if you used the undivided gasket then that is 100% your leak. I actually didn't know this until recently when I looked it up because I was curious of the difference.
@@BLACKzj52 yea I used the gasket that came in the evo 9 install kit from fp. I am pretty sure it's the divided one as I am trying to jog my memory on that but not 100% sure. If it comes to tearing it all apart I will be sure to check for that
@@d-evolution1309 you could probably save some time and look at a receipt or give FP a call and see what gasket you selected/they sent out. That would suck to take it all apart just to realize you did have the correct gasket installed.
If you disco'd the vacuum line to the WG and it still leaked, my money is on the gasket or bad WG actuator. I can't think of anything else it could be with a stock turbo/internal WG. I could be wrong though.
Check you boost controller to ensure it’s routed properly. Happened to mine and my WG was open just like yours. No biggie.
Can't remember if you mentioned it in the past or not, but are you using a divided/divorced turbo to O2 housing gasket?
Good question. I will have to check the gasket fp sent me as they sent two. I think the gasket is divided though

Hope you can resolve your waste gate leak issue
Did you ever figure out what the wastegate issue was?
Yes. It was the gasket between the turbo and downpipe. It was the incorrect gasket. There is a video of it I did too
Did you check the wastegate actuator no loose?
The only thing I have had time to try was to remove the wastegate signal line. It still leaked. I'll dig deeper into it within the next few days
Where did u get that manifold?
The exhaust manifold is from Forced Performance. Its around $300 I think
