    When I was growing up in the 50’s we used to take an empty thread spool and add 4 nails and use yarn to do this. This is a new take on an old craft. I really like the addition of the beads; I
    might try this with a heavy thread instead of wire. (This was sort of like a precursor of kumihimo. )

      Yes! You can actually use all kinds of wire, thread, and cord, and each one gives you such a unique look!

    I’m really struggling with this tool. I have a six prong tool. The instructions that came with it are clearly for the four prong. My problem is when it’s time to pull the bottom loop over it seems too snug and will not pull out flush or go over the second loop. I’ve broken my awl while trying. Was using 26G wire.

    Great video, but you should of said that if your using beads that you should add the beads BEFORE you start.

      Great advice! Usually you would want to pre-string your beads, however, If you have cut off the length you desire already, beads can be added as you go. Just have to think ahead first! Great tip, thanks!
