Extra Titanic fact Molly... Along with Hays, The Titanic was transporting the furniture that he had purchased in London that was to go in the Chateau Laurier dining room for the opening, and it went down with the ship as well. They talk about that on the Rideau canal boat tour in Ottawa as it floats past the hotel :)
My hubby worked in the Canadian pavillion for a year and said the Canadian map was missing some of the maritime provinces, and the whole area was basically what Americans think Canada is like. Also, as a Canadian, there's more to Canada than maple syrup.
Love the trapped vids, but super duper miss the scavenger hunt comps. I imagine they were very painful to edit, but I always appreciated how suspenseful they were! It was tv show quality ❤️
I think a toque (what you might incorrectly call a "beanie") could be considered stereotypical Canadian. But if they have anything related to Tim Hortons, that would DEFINITELY be it.

I live next to that graveyard in Nova Scotia and when the movie came out in the 90’s, the j Dawson grave had a lineup of ppl out to the highway of ppl for over a week wanting to put gifts (roses teddy bears etc) on the grave site… no other graves got attention, but that one had piles of gifts surrounding it… still usually does
The four-paper hat is a neat idea. I wonder if survival schools have even bothered to consider it for use in tropical/desert regions? You have to have an appropriate headpiece to hold it but it rivals a boonie hat. Which a certain someone should have put in their pack LOL.
I'm arguably biased by I loved this video :) The second I read your punishment of having to talk like Moira Rose, I knew we'd hear the word bébé in there somewhere! The callback to Duckfist's comment about Canada not existing because it sounds too good to be true was pretty funny! And I confirm you couldn't go wrong picking the hockey shirt when it comes to stereotypical stuff. Poutine, hockey and maple syrup were all pretty safe bets.
It’s too bad there wasn’t a « Herb Ertlinger fruit wine » challenge. Molly could have crushed it with another Moira Rose quote: « This wine is awful…give me another glass » Northern Bloom… come on ya hoser bring some fruit wine in 2023 eh! 🇨🇦

But why would you want to escape Canada? I think you picked well in the shop, unless they had Timbits merch. Also, if you (for some reason) ever come to Halifax, Nova Scotia, you can visit the cemetery where many Titanic victims were buried. I went there on an elementary school trip to do gravestone rubbings. Which, now that I sit here and type it, seems morbid.
