Excellent explanation of the two hand backhand. I watched a lot of TH-cam videos of Pros and other high in amateurs giving instruction on it but as usual yours connects and always is transferable to the court. Thanks for all you do.!
Injury caused me to teach myself to play w/ non- dominant hand. Highly recommend practicing doing this for all who wish to utilize two-handed backhands. Great for those having difficulty adding topspin using only one hand on their backhands as well- as you mentioned, more power and easier to properly angle/ position paddle face.
I use the 2HBH to serve with mainly just to be different than everyone else but also because every serve is a practice cross court drive. Thinking of it as a drive and the serve as a opp to practice the 2HBH drive makes a difference as opposed to thinking of the serve as some kind of "different" shot.
I really need to learn this to handle higher balls at the net on the backhand side. It is difficult to get on top of the ball with a one handed backhand.
I feel the second hand tightness up the hit. I’d take my one handed over two anyway especially from the baseline. Generate a lot of power and accuracy with it. If you can’t generate enough power one handed you don’t know how to do it.
Were you late for the shoot and forced to pull a shirt out of from the recesses of your pickleball bag? 😆 Regardless of your wardrobe issues, good vid and info as always. #twoienation

Contact point is SUCH an underrated component to understand - leave it to Zane to point it out! Great video, as always.

New here. Great video and content!! Thank you. Unrelated+ what brand/model of shoes are you wearing?
When does the prototype paddle come out?
When should we not use a 2hBH?
When you need extended reach to get to the ball
When the ball is too far away from you or on a low bounce
great 👍 I need so bad how to dominate that ahot
What paddle is that? Looks different
Probably the ProtoHype paddle that a lot of the ProXR pros have been using
Did he say Walmart Roger Federer? LOL
You have to use the backhand eastern grip for a one-handed backhand, buddy.

I feel like Tyson is the only one I can think of that doesn't use one at all.
