that's not shell, that's thin wall and it removes one of the walls

Yes you are right, but in major 3d cad software this command call as shell command so that why I used this title for faster searching.

@@comechdesigns so how do you avoid taking off an entire wall ? Do you just have to make another surface that acts as a lid and assemble it on the object you used thin wall ?
