Bro every time I try to pick up the quarter walls for the half found snap point it picks the pillar up aswell ? Anyone know if this has been patched or smt 2:07
@@unklesdownunder7973 unless if there was a small fix for this it's kinda the only way to fix it and I did test with collision off and on could be unlucky with the spot
@@WildFW thanks for replying but instead i just didn't remove the quarter wall like you do, I built the doorframes up to the top and added the pillars and quarters up there, then removed the quarters from the bottom and the pillar stayed 👍
Rather have turrets on the ceillings and walls and some on a normal built wall , also dont put turets so close together 1 rocket will blow so many more turrets
Absolutely no reason to put so many turrets on structures anymore since now you can put turrets on the ceiling. Especially in ice cave where tek rifle is so strong
isn't it just better to place all turrets on solid surfaces? like cave walls etc, and just make a wall with only doorframes at the back with some flying turrets (the ones where you have them float between doorframes)
You would want a wall at the choke point to prevent ppl from running past all the turrets, and placing turrets on the cave wall/ceiling would be ideal but you would want to set it up to where there is a good amount of turrets covering an angle so that raiders can't get a angle on anything and if you were to peek this with a soaker you would get melted but with turrets up and around the corner ppl might get away with soaking for a good minute
i mean yeah obviously you would want some kind of wall but you can place your turrets everywhere, it's 20x as strong to place them on a ground surface so they can't blow multiple turrets with 1 explosive there really is no need to build an extensive wall especially one with that many turrets @@WildFW

I have tested. Tek turrets survive more hits and splash, so they are best to put on cave surface, so you only lose 1 at a time. And you absolutely do need this many turrets in one spot.

Do you have clipping turned off in single player. Yes clipping does work on official however with clipping on in single olayer it allows you to no-clip even more then you can on official.
@@WildFW Considering that mesh structures like cave walls and ceilings cant be destroyed... a lot more than placing all your turrets on the wall like this. Oil cave ceiling is very high... tell me how you gonna destroy heavys on the ceiling now? XD

@@porofate8376 u can pt bomb ice cave now , no netting on this wall and turret placement is too close toghther , 1 rocket will destroy 15% of the wal each run
its shit in caves now with new turrets u can place them on the terrain which makes it way harder to destroy or even get to them especially ceiling turrets @@porofate8376
Its a good replacement for pixie sticks, but I'd still put most of my turrets on the ceiling.

1:50 when I remove the quarter wall the pillar is removed with it even when my foundations are higher than yours. Any idea why?
The pillars probably aren't getting there own foundation support you'd have to lower the foundation and retry the pillars

What should all the turret settings be in this instance?
turrets are auto set to high players and tames, you would want to set tek turrets that you have high up to players only and some heavy's as well

Are you clipping the ceiling into the roof of the cave or do you have both door frames at the same level at the top?
@@WildFW figured it out i had to delete the top of pillar wall to place ceilings first then go back and place the top double doorways back down.
