The flute performer is needs so many years to show such attitude, he also needs much practice before public performance. He is not yet been so matured. Performance of my favorite Table player is beyond any complement.
Indian Classical Flautist, Film Composer, Music Arranger / Producer, Singer, Poet and a man of many more talents, Ashwin Srinivasan, a child prodigy, has successfully collaborated in Western Classical, Jazz, Fusion, Electronica, Bollywood and Hollywood with some of the greatest names from around the world.
This is a thumri, so taans, tihais, laykaari gimmicks should be avoided and tabla should be softer I guess.. check out Shobha Gurtu.. Does not mean I do not respect the artists though.. they are both brilliant.
Tabla is exceptional. Recorded on a good sound system.
