Because ESPN is well known to want total control of everything that happens especially since they were bought by Disney, there is no autonomy in any shows they produce no matter how big the star is. Fox sports, TnT, etc give a hell of a lot more leeway as what can be produced and especially said on any of the shows. Can't get rid of Shaq. Along with Ernie and of course the Chuckster, they are characters that have given that show the entertainment value that has made it so iconic. They are untouchable. Anyone thinking the show could lose Shaq have forgotten about Shaqtin a Fool and therefore you can't even take their opinion seriously. Praise Kenny all you want but he's the easiest to replace without the show losing any steam and you know it.
