I was feeling so uninspired and rather down before finding that you'd uploaded a new video this morning. What a godsend this was, and it absolutely tended to my weary soul. Jeri, there's just a magic spell that only you are able to cast. Your unique way of sharing with us the simple things that you love, while teaching and showing us that we can love them too, is a gentle reminder to appreciate "it all". The way you nurture everything...and have such respect for the "story" and purpose in each of the objects you use, collect, or re-imagine is so refreshing in our current climate. I see the value that you place in being a good steward of the natural world, and it brings light into the shadows, for sure. Thank you for bringing such enriching videos into our lives!
I am in my late twenties and I can not express how much I enjoy your videos. I learn so much from you not to mention how calming it is to sit down to a hot cup of tea with you. Thank you for taking your time to share these videos.
Like Martha Burnam I get excited to see a video of yours come up. You provide a place of peace in this chaotic world and I can hardly wait to have tea with you at the end. Thank you so much for sharing.
What a fun and interesting video. I'm over 70 and have been gardening since a little one but have learned so much from you today. Thank you, I really enjoyed this.
Thank you so much for your videos I so enjoy them.I wish you could do one every day, so beautifully done,I olso love feeding my birds, I can get close to a few of them, they are God's creatures and God loves animals.
Your video tickled all my senses! I believe I could even smell your soup. You made my day magical and I thank you dear friend. Blessings to all the creatures great and small at Hopalong Hollow
Your introduction was amazing. Loved the baby squirrels having fun. Hearing your donkey in the background made me believe I was "there". Your videos always leaves me wanting more! I will definitely try your black bean soup. Thank you Jeri.
I have set goals for myself after watching your channel, to live a more peaceful life. There beauty in old things, birds and plants .For 2021. I want to surround myself with doing what I love and not what the world expect of me. Thank you, Jeri .
I just discovered your channel today w this video and I am so happy!!! Thanks so much. Last year I planted 180 tulip bulbs in my front garden, my mother passed away almost 2 years ago and tulips were one of her favourite flowers, so I did it to honour her and rember her, I hope they come up again this year, last year they were so beautiful and every day when I watched them I thought of mum and imagine her smiling from heaven. Thanks so much for all the wisdom and beauty you bring. Many blessings and hello from Switzerland
That is a lovely memory garden for your mother and for you. I do hope the Tulips return for you this year. I have a patch that has been returning for over 10 years! It's very uncommon for that to happen where I live.
I like to read, but thanks to you I don't need to. We LOVE to watch birds, thank you for enduring the weather and for these demonstrations, especially the bulb plantings. Your style is perfect. Other youtuber's are good, but your channel is perfect.
If I may ask, what do you recommended, or use yourself, to record your gardening activities, chores or schedule? I'm always writing things down but I'm very disorganized.
What a delight watching your busy life. My poor husband fell off his ladder last year and broke his thumb and was unable to cover our fruit trees for our summer here in South Australia; so the birds have absolutely feasted on our apricots. I did manage to make him an apricot cobbler, apricot upside down cake, apricot loaf and apricot ice cream; but alas no jam. I too had a delightful day opportunity shopping with a friend and bought two English teacups, saucers and cake plates as well as green depression glassware - a small vase, dish and measuring cup. Although I’m having trouble finding a home for them as my china cupboard and trolley are quite full. As we go for a walk through the bush, our council (county) have roosting boxes tied to various Eucalyptus trees and it’s wonderful watching the various Galahs and Lorikeets chatter and squark; the Galahs can be especially loud. We just went to the movies and saw a new movie out called The Dry with Eric Bana. If you have a chance, please see it. It gives a very true depiction of our Australian bush and just how dry our country can be. Wishing you all the very best, kindest regards Karen 🌸🌺🍀
Hi Jeri. I love When you share your antiques & how you use them, my all time favorite types of videos. I feed the little cottontail bunnies in my neighborhood throughout the year. They are especially thankful in the winter when the grass dies. I started out feeding 1( he must of told all his friends) now, I go through approx. 50 lbs. of carrots every week to 10 days. I get such pleasure watching them eat. Makes me so happy when I hear them all crunching! Thank you for showing the birdies enjoying all the treats you made for them.
My neighbour feeds birds all winter. We love seeing all the Cardinals and Chickadees that visit daily. We get very cold winters here in Ontario and I often wondered how they survived. Now I know. I always learn something from watching your videos :). Stay safe.
This video was not only beautiful, but so encouraging to me and helpful . I have wondered about planting bulbs this late in the season , and in pots . You have made it so simple and doable! Thank you dearheart!!
Jeri, What a joy! I feed the birds, squirrels in my suburban yard in a area near Chicago zone 5. I gave your beautiful books that I ordered to 3 of my grandchildren for Christmas. I loved them, they loved them.

Love the bird station! It was awesome watching the birds enjoying it ! Great ideas! I continue to put suet out in the spring. It's easy for the birds to gurgitate for their baby birds & a very good source of protein for them too. Soup looks delicious! Ty for sharing your knowledge from gardening, antiques & teas! ♥️😊♥️
I just love listening to the sound of your voice. Your home, your garden, your artwork are all so pretty and pleasing. I love the little stone rabbit in a suit in among your planters. You truely enrich the world with your videos. Can I come live with you? 😉🐦🐇🐓🐝🌷🥀🌹🌼🌱
