This game really warms my soul, thanks Manly! I want to share my interpretation of the second ending, these symbols that you burn serve as protection and do not release the spirit into the world. Therefore, in the first ending she has no choice but to go to heaven, but in the second you destroy all the sigils and receive a curse in the form of a freed waifu spirit and a cat.
I imagine the talismans were put there after the first complaints about a "ghost" started, to try "inviting" it to move on to the afterlife. Of course she never did, but after settling her regrets during the game she has no real choice and goes to heaven... unless you remove them all and she can now choose to follow you instead.
I believe the second ending is really a bonus ending rather than a secret or alternate ending, as a reward for the little Easter egg hunt. That being said, I do not think that I have seen a horror game or even more so, a horror story like this.
@@Soundwave142 Yeah, usually the ghost in horror games just disappears after being exorcised, or the protagonist ends up dying horribly in some way. It's nice to see a game where both the ghost and the protagonist are happier, or at least content, by the end. The bonus ending for being a completionist is very sweet and heartwarming.
The most ironic part about this game is the fact that the apartment is literally the SAME one seen in Stigmatized Property. Yet instead of nearly getting possessed, you're playing Seven Nights at Komi's.
A good balance of horror with comedy, some cute romance and a sprinkling of cats. This was great, very unique overall. Good puzzles, solid scares and a ghost girl as the main attraction.
I think its funny that this game continues to play on the usual horror game tropes even after it has become apparent that its not all that serious. I like this take on the concept. The ghost isnt evil, just kind ofa pain in the butt.
You can tell Manly has played a lot of scary games. A spooky ghost appears and his first reaction is, "Oh no! A ghost! You must be hungry. Here, have my donut. No, no, I insist. It's fresh!" 😅

God I love wholesome horror stories so much. I love wholesome ghost stories. I was making an RPG Maker horror game about a horror fanatic who wakes up in a mansion filled with traps, and the only party member is an onryo, (who the protagonist promptly compares to Sadako). And she said "useless!" every time she found an empty cabinet. Thanks for playing this Manly!
@@Zane618 I gave up! I couldn't figure out RPG Maker MZ, specifically how to do events. I'm a writer by trade so I decided to write a wholesome short story instead about similar characters. The power of "roommates to lovers" Are strong with this one... Seriously though, a really sweet game and I love mc and Madoka dynamic and personality, it's really cute
It's all fun when Manly's down bad for spirit girls. But damn did I gasped so loud when she held his hand. *Hand-holding?!* That's future wifey material, right there.
So I got some serious questions here. Because Manly was too much of a pro-MLG gamer and never got "caught", is there a "bad ending"? What if ghost-chan catches you while filing down the cat, or spinning to win while waiting for phone to charge, or the noodle timer runs out?
You 'game over,' but she doesn't kill or even hurt you. She _just_ scares the shit out of you because she thinks it's funny. The scene where she's threatening you with a knife, she is genuinely upset, and is trying to scare you in a different kind of way, not as a prank, but because she's lashing out. Even then, she still was never going to hurt the protagonist.
Am I the only one who found it cute when she was throwing a temper tantrum on day 7? xD Also, on the "riddle day" (day 6), if I were living with her, I would say "If I don't solve the riddles, I can never leave... Wait, are you trying to sabotage my solving your riddles because you want me to stay? How cute." lol.
So with that other ending my guess Is that, when he removed all the talismans, the ghost and the cat were able to follow him because they were no longer bound to the room or the afterlife stictly. Or he just died on the way home. And now he's just pased on with them both. Either way, I'm down for it. This guy gets a ghost wife and a ghost cat.
It's the former. If he died, he should have joined her and the cat in the first ending. The talismans prevent them from leaving the room. If that applies to them, so does the protagonist.
Fun fact: Cats do not have functional taste receptors for detecting sweetness, so they can't taste sweet flavors. They still have receptors for the other common components of taste (bitter, sour, salty, umami). That cat may still like the texture of the sweets, the savory flavors of butter and cream, and other subtler elements we usually would not notice beyond the sweetness. Also, cats are often social eaters, so if they see you eating, they want you to share so they can ear with you (you're part of their colony and successful hunters are expected to share the bounty with the kittens) I happen to have one cat who is obsessed with icecream... Edit: I used the term "umami" because it refers to a specific type of taste receptor, one that specifically detects the amino acid known as glutamic acid, which Kikunae Ikeda, a Japanese chemist, initially isolated in a salt form (glutamate) from kelp broth. Ikeda coined the word "umami" to describe the flavor, which serves as a large component of what we call "savory", but there is no perfect translation. It is a loan word used in the scientific community.
I like this, it isn't perfect but it also doesn't have any major flaws which make it miserable. It is just genuinely good with a good story and a good emotional conclusion.

For what i understood bout the history is.. ghost girl ended up falling in love with the MC. Now bout the 2 endings if ya not remove all the charms from the place ghost girl can't leave the place thus she only appears alone with the cat after place is demolished,so in second since you remove last charm from main door, she's basically free to follow mc til the end of days . Right?? I definitely didn't expect the 'This was your cat while you were alive, right? I inherited her and looked after her until she died, and we all miss her. Here's some happy pics of her.' ending. Like, personally, it's what I'd want for my cats if I died before them, tbh.
This "horror" game has the best ghost waifu ever, even going to dangerously lewd levels like hand-holding. And a happy ending to boot. 12/10 give me my donut back.

One of the best games that has been made in a while in my opinion, I've never heard of a game with such a great concept and it made me choke up so bad.
21:22 At this point, the fact that the main character worries more about the donuts than being in a haunted house, seeing a ghost for the last 3 days makes me think that this is a joyful, comedic anime game. Manly was obviously not serious with the jokingly dramatic narrative, but somehow it matches the MC's thoughts. The Devs knew and intentionally did this. Mission Objective: "Hide the donuts". Cup of pudding: "How cruel..." 🤣🤣🤣
This non-ironically has to be the sweetest horror game ever made, as well as the silliest that isn't meant to be a complete parody. The internet needs more stuff like this.
Actually, I like that they took the route they did, finely balancing horror and comedy elements. The endings are a bit open to interpretation, but I really was into this.
This was so beautiful, I'm saving this gameplay. This is going directly to my WHOLESOME FOLDER. Not gonna lie I got a little bit of tears in my eye at the part were they are talking about Nina(the cat). This a beautiful, wholesome, horror story. I wonder if we get a sequel where they are living, that would be an awesome continuation.❤
When I saw bits and pieces of this game some days ago I wanted really badly to see you play it, and I'm so glad you made this video ^^ Some parts were overly long for my taste, like the statue file repair, or the battery charging, but besides that, everything else was just great. I loved the story, and the sad turn at the end got me completely by surprise with how goofy and silly the had been so far. Gotta say the part about the cat got me emotional, since I lost my own cat some months ago... And sometimes we all wish we could have stayed a lil bit longer with our loved ones before they're gone...
Was wondering why more people aren't giving it attention glad to see it won't go down and get lost. Great horror elements,Great comedy and great story when I saw it first didn't think I was going to get hooked to it but they prove me wrong. This needs another game, I need more of this.

I always buy something sweet likea couple of donuts for after dinner when I get back home from work. When I saw the mc fall into despair, I felt sadness, anguish but most of all, rage.
This is BARELY a horror game but that’s why I love it! The ghost is more mischievous than murderous and all you’re trying to survive is your patience wearing thin at her shenanigans instead of typical horror fates.
oof the enlarged thyroid cat death thing, a little too close to home honestly, my cat in real life died of that but she lived to her early 20s in human years which is amazing, I miss that cat, I still have an album of photos of her and some videos to see, life took my last best friend. the other being my springer spaniel who was like a daughter to me, who died at age 13. I lost my fear of death with that one, knowing ill either meet them both again, the only living things who have ever been nice to me and loved me for me, or ill be granted eternal peace of none existence and not have to endure the pain anymore
_Playful romance horror_ Very unique game becauuse the ghost was teasing as well as scary. The doughnut bit and hiding the chopsticks made her irritating, but adorable at the same time. You made excellent boyfriend and I'm glad you got pretty ghost waifu in the end with cat. And I really loved the music. It heightened the sadness and sweetness of her story.
Gotta love getting a ghost wife and a ghost cat. I actually super like it. It felt like it was going for a more slice of life but also horror route. It felt blanced as if one punch man was dealing with a ghost. This felt new and refreshing in the category of unusual romance.
I legit thought this is a horror game until I saw the ghost's face, and actually read the title of the video, also I didn't read the first-half minute into the video. Good stuff, didn't regret a thing.

Now bout the 2 endings if ya not remove all the charms from the place ghost girl can't leave the place thus she only appears alone with the cat after place is demolished,so in second since you remove last charm from main door, she's basically free to follow mc til the end of days .
Kool game . I left a like on sweetie since I like the video post
I didn't expect such feelings from a horror game.
12/10 give me my donut back.
it's funny how fast he found the control
this ghost is cute so far, she's so shy and gets embarrassed when you look at her
9:50 1:03:47 Manly has moves!
25:25 she did the john cena "you can't see me" 25:35 I feel the pain in that no
I think the important question here is: the whole time she was coming up behind you, was she after that _doughnut_ or was she after that _cake?_
A new Manly playthrough of a ghost waifu game is always a pleasure to see after a long day's work.
By the end of this you're gonna turn into a vengeful spirit over her stealing your donut and haunt her.
Lots of empty soul jars in this game! 10/10 I’ve been feeling really terrible today so thank you for uploading
Ghostlady: "you're not good-looking"
Kevin Heart: "Damn"
One of the best games that has been made in a while in my opinion, I've never heard of a game with such a great concept and it made me choke up so bad.
I love the ghost trying to sneak up on you and you're just like "Hey...tss tss...no...bad." Like she's a cat.
Why do love this so much? They're basically roommates.
Its sadako we talking about her not killing us is a big deal.
Oh my god, they were roommates!
"And they were very good friends!"
Her little scooch away when she was pouting was adorable.

This is now my favorite manly play through.
I won't lie I was hoping he did the dramatic "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO" after she stolen the last donut lol
I adore this game and premise so much I hope we see more wholesome horror games like this in the future! The ending brings such a tear to my eye
LPT: Never say a haunting entity is too cute to be scary. Goes down hill fast after that.
This non-ironically has to be the sweetest horror game ever made, as well as the silliest that isn't meant to be a complete parody. The internet needs more stuff like this.
20:23 I really love that we both though in the same "mission complete" lol.
Actually, I like that they took the route they did, finely balancing horror and comedy elements. The endings are a bit open to interpretation, but I really was into this.
Honestly cute Ghost gf sounds better than being utterly alone. Unless she kills me.
Well of she kill you, you will be both ghost BF/GF
@@redwolfungryStill better love story than twilight
This was so beautiful, I'm saving this gameplay. This is going directly to my WHOLESOME FOLDER.
Not gonna lie I got a little bit of tears in my eye at the part were they are talking about Nina(the cat).
This a beautiful, wholesome, horror story.
I wonder if we get a sequel where they are living, that would be an awesome continuation.❤
Ok this is a pretty cute game. Sadako would be a great roommate.
i love how in the first 3 nights the mc is fightin the ghost bc of food
"Donut?"
I went from a terrible day to an amazing night xD
When I saw bits and pieces of this game some days ago I wanted really badly to see you play it, and I'm so glad you made this video ^^
Some parts were overly long for my taste, like the statue file repair, or the battery charging, but besides that, everything else was just great.
Wouldn't it be nice if more people treated ghosts like that instead of assuming they're evil or something
this comment was written by a ghost
True, they are just people who are... death. They probably scare us for fun because they know people scare of them lol
Yeah, they’re just people but dead. They can’t really do anything but spook you occasionally.
feels like something a ghost would say
@@indigo1562 well Halloween is coming up and the veil is getting thinner. 😉
Hell nah, 3 minutes in and Manly, without a thought, removed the talisman that may or may not repel the ghost.
You underestimate how much shit this man has gone through, nothing phases him anymore
I really love how calming your voice has become for me. These lets plays have become my bedtime companion and i love listening to you talk through the games you play. Thank you so much! I hope you keep doing this for a long time!
Ghost: I've come to haunt you
Protagonist: That's Fine, i would enjoy some company
Someone used Character AI to date a horror monster, and made a game out of it
And I love it
I always buy something sweet likea couple of donuts for after dinner when I get back home from work. When I saw the mc fall into despair, I felt sadness, anguish but most of all, rage.
I am a simple girl;
I see a cute ghost girl and I blush,

Thoroughly enjoyed watching you play this game! Had all the elements, a little spooky, a little funny, a little tearful, a little sweet. Loved it !! 💜
24:54 The dramatic voice acting by manly is exquisit! This game was literally made for him XD
developer has a good grasp on cinematics, its an emotional game for being so simple in story
Imagine being on the train and you just see a guy with a floating donut
I like how it got so intense and your character casually offers her a donut.
i legit broke into an uncontrollable fit of laugh/crying when he offered the ghost lady a donut 🤣🤣🤣
10:25 Ha, this game be pretty good already. Just the protag going "heyo how about my doughnut instead of my life lol" and her accepting the offer!
_Playful romance horror_
Very unique game becauuse the ghost was teasing as well as scary.
"what's with this, sassy... Lost child?"
Man was meeting a ghost and the first thing that came to his mind was giving her a doughnut, what a mad man
I legit thought this is a horror game until I saw the ghost's face, and actually read the title of the video, also I didn't read the first-half minute into the video. Good stuff, didn't regret a thing.
I did not expect such a good story. Almost got me in tears when the diseased cat part was brought up in the plot. 10/10. great gameplay as always
creepy how manly asked the ghost if she wants to have a drink and the ghost makes tea..
20:06 I think she's Tsundere angry in this instance xD
As soon as I saw this game I knew Manly would play it.
Offering the donut was the slickest move I ever did see.
Start of that letter had me CRACKING UUUUP. I love how she really was just out here to cause chaos
59:51 You spin me right round Manly right round like a record baby. Lol I knew it was just a matter of time before you played this. Very well done job on the dev for making something in such short time. Funny, spooky, actual game mechanics.
Edit 1:01:11 NVM there it is xD In binary too.
It’s a nice game! lots of the scenes are very cozy and the story is overall quite wholesome.
"Sir why is there a.... _Achoo_ flying donut beside you. Ugh why is my cat allergy acting up, is there an invisible cat here?"
