    Coach,
    Whats the best way to close the distance to set up for the hook? When sparring I tend to keep my distance when throwing jabs and crosses which keeps the hook out of a good range.

      Well you have a few options. You could step in as you slip the jab from your opponent. You could fake the jab and step in right after it for the hook. You could lead with a cross as you step in with your lead foot and then let off a hook.
