I’ve bought this new model of Polo with the 1.0 tsi 95hp dsg, previously I had the pre-facelift Polo aw1 with 1.6 tdi 95hp manual transmission. Well, they’ve done a great job to this new Polo, lots of features that you can’t find easily in this segment. The only negative point is related to the fuel consumption on highway, I usually use my car in city, but with the previous 1.6 tdi when I went on highway the consumption was amazing. Cruising at 140km/h I was able to do 5-5.3l/100km. With this new Polo I can’t of course.
P.S: I live in Italy 🇮🇹 and the actual price of the petrol is 1.82€/l (!!!). Diesel 1.72€/L

Only €1.82/L for petrol? Local gas stations in The Netherlands are around €2.08/L and highway prices is around €2.28/L right now

@@RiKe456 yeah but, trust me, in Hollan the average income is much higher than Italy. So prices are not comparable

@@kingjames7376 The income might be higher, but the taxes are also a lot higher on pretty much everything. On average, about half a paycheck is already gone because of rent/mortgage, then you still have to buy/keep a car (which is extremely expensive), and that is just 2 examples

How come? Friend of mine has this engine in a VW Golf Variant and we averaged 5,3L/100km fully loaded with 4 passengers on board with 130 kph cruise speed on the Autobahn for about 600km.
Honestly the 7,3L in this video at 140 kph seem a bit high. But then again the engine in my friend's car is the Euro 6D Temp one, not Euro 6D. So this might be the reason.

@@nairamize4996 my car has only 1200km so maybe consumption it’s a bit higher than normal. Anyway I honestly think that I’ll never reach the average consumption I had on my previous tdi. I was able to do 4l/100km in normal driving at 110-120km/h. But this petrol engine is much smoother in city drive (maybe also because of the dsg transmission) and way less noisy. It seems an electric car (friends of mine all thought it was electric)

Great Video as always! Love your channel!! To the car: The new shifts are soooo damn slow on the digital cluster. It just looks like an old torque converter

My last Polo was a Polo V from 2011, 1.6 common-rail TDI DSG. Unfortunately the car broke down last week, Turbocharger broken. :(
    I'm now getting the 2022 1.0 TSI DSG R-line on thursday ^^

Is only good on county road and highway consumption, only city over 10liter or county road with many crossroad stops has over 9 liter. Engine called pentastar 3.6. If with awd much more fuel consumption or SUV, better Charger 3.6 or chrysler 300 3.6 RWD has good consumption for big engine

@@TESTDRIVEFREAK Isn't the fuel consumption higher on this review because of recent high amounts of wind? I've ordered the 110hp Polo Style myself and can't wait to receive it!
