a good setup is ex kicks (launching him in air) and except of chaining ultra walk up to him, HP + high sakura otoshi will be a cross up, and more damage then the ultra cause of the combo scaling. it is blockable though, but most people wont block when you do it correctly

No, they're not overheads. But if you block, you might get thrown instead. It's a guessing game, that's the purpose of resetting the opponent.
