Hello Everyone! GoldenNova here! It's Patron Week, and today we're covering a theme chosen by this month's Quasar Commander, and for the Lore Oriented channel (Loriented?) I couldn't ask for a better topic. World Chalice kicked off one of the game's best storylines, as well as being one of the poster children for the new Link Summoning mechanic. Suffice it to say, they had a lot on their plate. So today, I'm going to tell you all about this sweet RPG style party and what it can do!

Gem Night Lazuli: That's all? I got corrupted twice, while I am fused! I even got revived from dead just to be corrupted!
????: Amateurs.
Ecclesia: What was that.
Ib: Amateurs!!! I did not do jack shit, but got kidnapped, was possessed, played sudoku to stop the possession, got mutilated by my OWN BROTHER, got revived only to be possessed again, and lost my boyfriend by becoming god!
Ecclessia: At least you got a sword, right?
Ib: THE SWORD IS MY BOYFRIEND! Or whatever was left of him after he ascended to godhood and left us

This and Crusadia are literally just my favourite decks of all time ngl, the World Legacy lore really sells both of them for me
my favorite decks in the lore ironically are the antagonistic decks. Krawlers are really fun with their flip effects and there's something very satisfying about going full Orcust combo and shuffling back all the banished resources that were used up during my turn. P.S. free my boy Harp.

Accesscode is a must have in World Chalice. Your World Chalice Link Monsters have various attributes which you can use to quickly finish the game with Accesscode's high ATK
...Mekk-Knight is next in order for the World Legacy storyline. My favorite deck, let's go!

Still hoping to see justiciar unbanned one day but with an errata to her summoning condition similar to world key blade master. That card was literally the main reason I played this game again after a decade of not playing.
It is possible. They recently Errata'd ancient Fairy dragon so that you can't abuse its effect repeatedly and search out the same field spell over and over again like with Spyral.

Is the alternative way to the Resort (pun intended) really that useful?
It was so good in my Dino deck, I had a combo that would end up on a VFD, Dolka or a Laggia, Tyrano, and a Quatlos
Just put a non-Tuner "World Chalice" monster clause (in order to not abuse with Draconnet) and it should be enough...for me !

She gets better. But I have to wonder what is it with female leads in these lore archetypes where they have to get captured, die, and/or get corrupted. In that order. It's almost every single one.
I definitely fell in love with these running them in Legacy of the Duelist? And they're a fantastic "Tutorial Archetype" for learning how Linking works!
Also uh... I guess of all of them, I'm team Imduk? They're all pretty cool tho
Honestly this deck is probably the best way to introduce link monsters to a new player especially as it can naturally be upgraded by some of the other world legacy archetypes namely the Mekknights and Knightmars funny enough.
Mixing it with Crusadia also works

They really did have a chance to slow down the game, they really did, but then 4 sets in they are like "well might as well release the knightmeres, we already had spyral", just imagine link Era where games go past turn 3 and your extra deck isn't 70% gone by the end of your first turn.
To think, slowing down the game was what a lot of people thought the point of Links were. How naïve they, including me, were. Good times when we game Konami the benefit of the doubt.
Konami never said that. That was an assumption people made that was dashed when Double Helix was revealed.
Just imagine such a thing. Seemed too good to be true... And it was lmao.
Finally à World Legacy related lore! Please do the Continuation of their storyline!

Another tech choice is Exodius, the Ultimate Forbidden Lord, which can shuffle back all your monsters for its inherent summon so you can resummon all the shine balls again
World chalice is one of the archetypes i really wanted to see examined. Knightmare may be another good option as there is a lot you can say about their link monsters.
To the World Chalice. May we all enjoy this deck's story, and may we all have a great dueling year.

World Chalice and Magikey doesn't really work well together no matter how hard I tried to make it work except the part where Clavkiys said "The Worlds Will Be Connected"
Now THAT would be a hell of a twist in the Magikey lore
Love the lore/storyline behind these cards and can't wait to get into the associated archetypes.
I'm loving that new Intro 👀 looks cool! Also, I've never gotten into the World Chalice lore, so I'm happy to say this is the best starting point for the lord of World Chalice and everything after.

Crowned works with Draconnet for a 1-card Justiciar
I was litteraly wondering when this video was going to be released. World Chalice is my very first archetype when I started Yu-Gi-Oh! in 2018, and I still play it today. It's really sad to me that Ib the World Chalice Justiciar has to be banned...because she technically did nothing wrong. I know Meta is going to abuse it for search, and that both Girsu and Draconnet are Ib-1 normal summon, but I really hope she is going to leave the banlist for sins she's not responsible for.

You could summon crown with the effect of draconet since on normal summon let special summon a level 2 or lower normal monster from the Hand or deck
Small World works wonderfully well in the deck, especially if you run the venus package.
world chalice/legacy, krawlers, guardragon and the company are great to make an anime series.
I just realized this archtype is something everyone who plays master dule will have.
The starting deck has all the normal monsters, you get all of the links from the gate, and most if not all of the support throughout. The only thing you dont get is avramax and i believethe blademaster card, which is a bit disappointing.
This is the best f2p in duel links since they have 1 ur

the problem with chalice is if played pure there is so many ways to disrupt the combos that its unplayable in competitive modes. you have to mix in the other archetypes like mekk knight or krawler to make it have enough gas...or *cough cough* snake-eye...but if do that then it defeats the purpose of an archetype and decks just become piles or random shit with enough gas to keep going. i feel like konami needs to focus on making decks relevant at being pure decks instead of releasing generic support to keep things piled up messes imo. and give support to the old forgotten decks like this.

(21:03) Now that's interesting.
Ancient Gear Hunting Hound is, as far as I can tell, the archetype's resident level 3, and acts as a walking/ barking fusion spell. If you draw that and this spell, you can transmodify it (if you don't need the fusion effect for some reason) to get Ancient Gear Frame, which searches AG Golem and (if destroyed w/o its effects being negated) summons that AG Golem to the field.
Problem is, you're more likely to draw one of the archetype's numerous level 4s, meaning transmodify's only target (that I'm aware of) would have to be Ancient Gear Engineer if not some out-of-archetype machine (still new, forgive me for not knowing one off the top of my head). Good news is that both AG Hunting Hound and Ancient Gear Engineer are searchable with Gizmek Uka.
"Why would you want to search AG Engi of all things with Uka?"
Well if you've got transmodify in-hand, and no other EARTH/ machine monsters in your deck with equal attack and defense, and you for SOME reason don't feel like t-modding Gizmek itself into Ancient Gear Dark Golem (which is EARTH attribute for some reason) you can use Gizmek to s. summon AG Engi, then t-mod that into Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Chimera.
... Or in other words, "You would not, and would rather go from Uka to Hunting Hound to then pull any of the legion of better level 4s the archetype has to offer if its fusion services were for some reason not of good use".
Ancient Gear Canon, bless its engine, is probably the most searchable machine in the whole archetype and t-mods into Ancient Gear Hunting Hound. 500 ATK *AND* DEF, so works with AG Box, Machine Dupe, Uka, Link Spider, you name it.... buuuut there's little use t-modding it when you could tease out AG Hunting Hound directly without begging Nibiru to make an appearance. It *IS* notable for NOT having a once/turn effect on its burn damage though, so you could-
Normal summon 1 AG Canon. Machine Dupe to have two, tribute both for 1,000 burn. Activate a set World Legacy Landmark to banish 1 World Legacy 'mon from the GY and re-summon 2 AG Canons, tribute both again for another 1,000 burn (totaling 2k this turn).
If you have Link Spider in-hand AND World Legacy Landmark, you could Machine Dupe AG Canon to have all 3 on the field this time, tribute them for 1,500 burn, trigger WL Landmark to resummon 2, get rock'd by nibiru, then link off the primal being token (1,000 ATK) into link spider.
TLDR: Lots of non-sensible shenanigans to be goofed with.
Almarduke can be summoned by using Dragon's Mirror to banish 3 Link you've already used as material for a Link climb.

For my own World Chalice deck in Master Duel, I use Avramax as my Ace.
