European here. We clearly have a different relationship with nudity :) I've been my parents naked, most sauna's over here are fully naked; there are beaches where people can sunbathe naked.... it takes away the sexual connotation, and it becomes a body.
Well, Europe is a broad term. There're over 30 countries in Europe from some who are comfortable being naked and some who are not. So please do not generalize. Not all of Europe is the same. Just like not all of the US is the same. I've lived in both so I know. All I can say is that California is cool with being naked and there're many legally nude beaches here that we can go to.
@@hirsch4155 Belgium 😉 Eastern-Europe is chill with nudity, France, Germany, Canary Islands/Spain, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, Italy... so lets be honest: the majority.
My mom was always naked at home and it made me comfortable with the imperfections and flaws about my body, because I saw a natural body all the time. So that was really good. But at the same time, she lacked boundaries in other areas too, I heard maybe too many adult conversations I didn’t need to hear, profanity, etc, which I kinda wish I didn’t hear so early on, I wouldn’t speak that way around my kids. I think it can be both good and bad depending on the parent.

My parents walked around naked in our home. I remember being in the tub with both of my parents. My parents never shamed me for my body. My mom was from Japan where she grew up going to onsens, public bath houses where they’re separated by sex but fully nude. I stopped being nude in front of my boys by 5 or 6 years old. I don’t feel shame about my naked body. I would like to lose 5 to 10 lbs so when I go to public bath houses I am not insecure. If you’re curious about what it’s like find a Korean spa and try some massage/scrub services. I love it all!

The issue here is that we learn to associate naked bodies with sexuality and shame. It's just a human body with its different parts. But culturally most people cannot see genitals or women's breasts without thinking of sex.
Not wanting other people ( whether its your spouse, children, friends) not see you naked does not mean being ashsmed of your body.the other valid reason is just you want to protect your most private parts and like Julia Roberts said once on why she wouldn't do nudity"My 3rd grade Maths teacher doesnt need to see how my butt looks like'.im Malaysian (and a doctor)so maybe thats why im against it .The thing that bothers me is people nude shaming those who dont have problem with it and those who do.Just " you do you"

If you are comfortable with your body that is great but why should anyone else be comfortable with your nudity?
I have zero problem being naked. In some cultures like Japan people even take public baths together. Our aversion to nudity is completely cultural; it's not inherently good or bad.
I'd say it's bad to an extent. I'm not saying desiring modesty in public is wrong, but people are growing up increasingly uncomfortable with their bodies because the largest exposure they receive is through porn and influencers with filters. They don't see what average bodies look like and feel abnormal compared to what they do see. It's been a growing problem for decades with magazines, TV shows, and advertisements. Social media has exponentially made it worse.
I think context matters. I cant imagine in Japan they walk around their houses completely nude just for the heck of it. If you're actually doing something that is usually done nude, like a sauna, public bath, swim at the lake etc. then it's not strange.
& quite frankly, NEITHER does Sara Haines HERSELF too as well okay, but yet, I MYSELF would just simply LOVE to ENVISION Alyssa, Ana, Sara & Sunny butt bare assed NAKED (in MY mind of course) @sheldoncole1151.
It's good for kids to see what normal human bodies look like. Otherwise they will grow up and think porn bodies are the norm. Because they will watch porn when they grow up.
In Finland we have sauna culture. Nudity means nothing. You grow up seeing naked people of different gender and age and body type. And you have a realistic idea of what an average human body looks like. When I go to the public baths on the mens side it's funny to me when the muslim men wear swimming pants there in the showers. I coud not care less who sees me naked. But most of americans in California who I know are relaxed about nudity. Those who wan't to cover them selves can wear what they wan't and nobody minds other peoples nudity.

If you make them feel uncomfortable about (sexualize) it or disrespect their boundaries or disregard their denial, the therapy sessions will be about how to establish and hold firm boundaries and consent. Kissing children is not the actual problem. I’m 41 yo and still kiss my 63yo parents on the lips and I kiss my kids on the lips. My husband kisses his parents and kids on the lips. My 21yo has never expressed an ounce of discomfort and he actually goes to therapy. If anything, he would like more affection. I come from a naked family 😂 I’m actually appreciative though because I feel like I’m a lot more comfortable with the human body and it’s functions than a lot of my friends who do not come from naked families. I remember one time my friend telling me her sister in law breastfed in front of her and how she was uncomfortable. When my sister in law breastfed in front of me, I don’t think I even noticed. It was so normal to me to see breasts lol. I don’t have kids yet but I’d most likely be okay with being naked around them until they are around 8ish and become more aware of things.
I never liked but I also did not despise it. It used to be a habit of my mother for a long time after she finished her shower. She acted differently towards my brother. It was different with my friends' family though. Her mother and stepfather only covered up the genitalia and I never understood why they couldn't wait until they get into the bathroom.
Of course Sunny is a big Prude again. She has such old fashioned points of views. Come to Europe, everyone is naked on the beach, group lockers rooms, showers. It's a normal thing
I’m 57 and saw my mom naked all the times. I saw my dad but maybe until five years old. I walked naked in my home and that did not bother my children until it did when they were around 12. My son told me once mom this is visual pollution!😅 it did bother them so I respect that but some how, it never bother them to come in my bathroom if or bedroom if I was naked and getting dressed IF they need something out of me like MONEY. Go figures!
I walked around naked in front of my kids when my grandkids are at my house they have seen me naked. They see their parents naked. Not once did my kids or my grandkids ever actually notice I was naked 🤷🏽♀️. It’s how we were born. This stems from people sexualizing EVERYTHING.
People think that being naked in front of kids and kids seeing other people naked is inappropriate. Some kids who are nudists go to nudist resorts and they see people who are naked just them. They don't have a problem seeing other people naked because they are used to seeing them naked all the time.

Not “Sorry Herbie” hahahaha Yeah, I’m not down with my future kids seeing me naked lol. I think there’s a way to foster a healthy body image while also maintaining healthy boundaries (i.e. your body being for you and whoever you *choose* to let see it).

European here? You do know that not all European countries are the same. I call BS on your comment until you say way you’re from.
@@hirsch4155 Belgium 😉 Eastern-Europe is chill with nudity, France, Germany, Canary Islands/Spain, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, Italy... so lets be honest: the majority.
My mother was always naked in my childhood and i’m fine!😂✌🏼Even today it would be okay!😅🤘🏼lol!
My parents did this when I was little and I loathed it.
Disgusting.
In front of kids? No. If it’s just a couple on their own, that’s fine.
Exactly..the kids might tell their friends and you can be sure those kids parents ain't letting them to the house😏
I’m a 29yr old male, my mom has been naked in front of me numerous times 😂. We have full blown conversations too. It’s normal guys their just bodies.
These ladies are crazy.....l love Alyssa on the panel, she is so honest.
I think it's okay I don't see the big deal 💯
I really dont get Americas fear of nudity/ the natrual body. Alone or not.
As an American, I agree with you. I'm a nudist and it's just a body.
As an American myself as well, I also agree
Still traumatized by my mom making pancakes, topless, before Sunday school 😵💫
After a certain age, kids aren't consenting... and don't want to see that
Great perspective!
If they say they don't want to see it, then parents should listen. But otherwise I don't see a problem with it.
Fridays are more relax without Whoops!!
Whoopi Goldberg is uptight?
Y’all comment this every Friday
My parents walked around naked in our home. I remember being in the tub with both of my parents. My parents never shamed me for my body. My mom was from Japan where she grew up going to onsens, public bath houses where they’re separated by sex but fully nude. I stopped being nude in front of my boys by 5 or 6 years old. I don’t feel shame about my naked body. I would like to lose 5 to 10 lbs so when I go to public bath houses I am not insecure. If you’re curious about what it’s like find a Korean spa and try some massage/scrub services. I love it all!
I love walking around my house in all of my nakedness but I also don’t have kids. Like last week I was off the entire week and doing laundry was a breeze because I didn’t wear a thing! 😂
You walk butt naked around your house? You must live alone?
You don't be having nothing on at all walking around your house just completely naked?
You don't be having anything on at all?
@@sheldoncole1151 nothing because I’m home. Except for when it’s storming then I put on some pjs lol
@@MrCharvisp18 I don't stay alone but if I did I probably would never walk around with nothing on because I don't like showing my body. I don't like wearing shorts so I mainly wear pants and sleep in pants most of the time. My body is okay I just don't like showing skin.
The issue here is that we learn to associate naked bodies with sexuality and shame. It's just a human body with its different parts. But culturally most people cannot see genitals or women's breasts without thinking of sex.
Not wanting other people ( whether its your spouse, children, friends) not see you naked does not mean being ashsmed of your body.the other valid reason is just you want to protect your most private parts and like Julia Roberts said once on why she wouldn't do nudity"My 3rd grade Maths teacher doesnt need to see how my butt looks like'.im Malaysian (and a doctor)so maybe thats why im against it .The thing that bothers me is people nude shaming those who dont have problem with it and those who do.Just " you do you"
I’m always naked around my home. Often on the patio as well.
No kids, thankfully
It is very normal in other parts of the world to bath with family as children, teens or as adults. You americans or westerners make everything so awkward, weird, or feel insulted by anything non-american. These things are normal outside of your bubble thus why perhaps your family was fine with it if they are non-western like lets say european, spanish, asian, or from another country where its fine or they didn't see it as strange even if they are american. If you ever go abroad your in for a huge culture shock if you look into it. I recommend some people don't come to my country, you'd feel so creeped out about families of all ages going into baths and saunas and such with complete strangers in the nude. Be comfortable with your own body and other people, its natural.
I'm european and I don't know wtf you are talking about. Stop generalising. I don't want to see my parents naked and we didn't took a bath together. Maybe with my mom when I was a toddler. If you are comfortable with your body that is great but why should anyone else be comfortable with your nudity?
Don't be jingoist. I'm an American and have no problem with nudity. I'm a nudist.
haha I am like Alyssa...I never let my cats see me naked, it just feels wrong lol
Totally cool with it. My kids ate well adjusted
Me too. I take a bath with my three year old, who cares.
Referring to your dad's junk as a "shlong" is crazy. 😂
Junk is bizarre
@lorettanericcio-bohlman567 🤢
@@graikonungr7502 true
@@Ray03595 whether being naked at home is usual or not is completely subjective
@@aggy5372 yes. obviously?
It should be normal, nudity is a normal part of life. To many prudes.
Not Whoopi it would be scary.😂😂
I don't see anything wrong with it 💯
& quite frankly, NEITHER does Sara Haines HERSELF too as well okay, but yet, I MYSELF would just simply LOVE to ENVISION Alyssa, Ana, Sara & Sunny butt bare assed NAKED (in MY mind of course) @sheldoncole1151.
We all have bodies. What’s so shocking about that?
Sarah is 100% correct! There is nothing wrong with nudity in a family. We all shower and it’s completely natural.
Yeha
I think it's perfectly fine just not when their friends or company is over
YES EXACTLY OKAY @sheldoncole1151.
Uh I was too young to remember what my mom’s boobs looked like and I’m glad it stayed that way. No kid looks at their mom’s boobs as food 🥴.
My mom, aunt, and grandmother were always naked around us (only the girls) so my sisters, female cousins and I do it as well.
It's good for kids to see what normal human bodies look like. Otherwise they will grow up and think porn bodies are the norm. Because they will watch porn when they grow up.
Define "porn body" - if you can.
Haha I’m like Alyssa lol my dog chills in the door when I shower and he just stares lol
Me personally I wouldn’t be naked in front of my kids if I have any
Ana’s Comment is sending me LMAO
I don't want my kids growing remembering that they once saw what I have. And I also hate when parents kiss their kids on the lip. Unnecessary.
You might wanna seek therapy.
Sooooo its okay that they came from you but they cant see you? okay, to each is own
@@rainbeauxunicorn5237I disagree, kissing kids on their lips might send them to therapy
@@tameikasmith2672… right. And ppl wonder why men don’t know how to act when they see tatas or a lady nursing her baby in public.
@@lorettanericcio-bohlman567… 🤨Might?? If you teach children about consent, boundaries and respect their decisions on when they feel comfortable about showing affection, kissing kids on the mouth (like normal 🙄) is a healthy way to show affection to your family.
At some point ppl are gonna understand that normal things that feel wrong to y’all are because it was never normalized for y’all. Yalls family for whatever reason didn’t teach y’all properly and y’all learned to become ok with it.
NO! My boys (2 of them) made the decision not to see me naked when they were around 5 or 6. My two girls it was not an issue, but it became an issue later for me. Never ever saw my dad naked.
I don’t think it’s a good idea and I come from a family that’s relatively ok with being naked.
when you grow up in large family and have only one bathroom and you have places to be, you don’t have a choice but to see your family members naked lol. it’s only weird if you make it weird .
Depends on what Child Protective Services enforces in your State (& child's age and gender).
I wouldn’t.
It's totally fine. No mystery about nakeness around your kids.
I'm normally nude at home when im alone. The people across the pond have caught me twice and just chuckle. We're friends now because of it 😂😂😂
Why is Sunny trying to shame Sara?
Definitely cultural differences. Grew up seeing it and never felt any way about it
I don't see anything wrong with it no matter the genders everybody should what they want to do 💯
Stop equating nudity with sex.
I would not want that memory for my child
It wouldn't be your memory and they probably wouldn't remember anyway.
Dare to live the life you have dreamed for yourself. Go forward and make your dreams come true.
Go figures!
Joy Behar should not be naked in front of anyone. Please.
men love headlights
I walked around naked in front of my kids when my grandkids are at my house they have seen me naked. They see their parents naked. Not once did my kids or my grandkids ever actually notice I was naked 🤷🏽♀️. It’s how we were born. This stems from people sexualizing EVERYTHING.
People think that being naked in front of kids and kids seeing other people naked is inappropriate. Some kids who are nudists go to nudist resorts and they see people who are naked just them. They don't have a problem seeing other people naked because they are used to seeing them naked all the time.
I pray I meet a lady just like Sarah - She’s the most decent human being!
Sonny recused herself but put Sarah on the spot with weird questions…Well that unintentionally says a lot about her personality.
My 3 sons and I were always naked at home even as they became teenagers.
I felt always that nudity is sacred and lovely and it made us to be belong 4 in 1.
Beautiful.

The bigger question is..Shouldn’t people be minding their business in 2024?!?!?!
Europe and America don't cease to disappoint.
They NEVER EVER DO okay @Mypresident1986.
Europeans were the original. Americans are knockoffs.
Why should be ever be ashamed or embarrassed by ANY part of God's creation? Private parts are designed to create life - what can be more beautiful than that?
My mom is like Sarah and it’s awesome.
Yes in Brazil some people do it
No way. 🎉🎉🎉
Like Sara, my kids still come in unannounced between my shower n lotion time, only difference is they are 9 and 11 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
Of course it's normal
Not “Sorry Herbie” hahahaha
Yeah, I’m not down with my future kids seeing me naked lol. I think there’s a way to foster a healthy body image while also maintaining healthy boundaries (i.e. your body being for you and whoever you *choose* to let see it).
Depends on age and if the parent and child is the same after a certain age.
If the parent look good and shape, nudity all they want, but if they are like Joy Behar, call the polices.
Is not a problem at all.
My father slept naked and walked naked between his bedroom and the bathroom. I saw him many times. No biggie. We had an open door bathroom policy. That only bothered me when my grandmother came in and saw me naked and started suggesting that maybe it was time to start shaving my legs. I also felt pretty uncomfortable when, as a teen, my mother wanted me to see if I felt a lump in her breast!
My family is a naked mostly because I had a single mom.
