I fished here two weeks ago two different days spinning with feathers and using mackerel bait got nothing. Not even a bite lol. Great video as I was thinking there was no fish there.
Great fishing report . I used to fish the docks on the liverpool side near the heritage market . I seen a mackeral caught once by my friend On a baited boom rig . And a bunch of us all caught small red gurnard once over the space of a few weeks . Ive never heard of gurnard or mackeral caught far up the mersey . We used to cast out and reel in slowly using a running ledger . It worked well for us compared to leaving the bait static .
Ha ha! Love it a video about fishing the Duke st bridge! I have fished not seriously though, that dock since I was a kid and I have been very surprised with some of the variety of species I have caught in there recently! You guessed it I caught a butter fish in the summer and I was after one myself, great fun I enjoyed this light hearted video mate nice one! 😉🎣👍
Glad you enjoyed it! It's a location that intrigues me - and am stuck in lock down tier 3 for the time being and can't get back there for a while to find out what other species i can get from there....
@@fishing-fiend the is a fella who gets the train from Manchester and fishes there quite regularly and he's shown me a picture of a angler fish about 2lb that he caught there!
