Because the ring has also selected people like Sinestro into the Corps. It doesn't exactly consider a person's moral alignment under its list of qualifications when it comes to its wielders. And Supes has probably been in the DAU universe long enough to recognize a potential Parallax incident in the making when he sees one.

It absolutely is cope. Like, you're arguing against a 10 year old video when even death battle acknowledged it had bad logic and it was part of the reason they made the third one. Your example of "fudging the numbers" was litteraly a typo. And they didn't say anything about how long the star lasts. If you're complaining about the outcome but only mentioned the animation instead of their actual arguments, you absolutely are coping.

He was doing the Green Lantern Corps a favor, imagine the PR disaster Kermit would cause for them.
Because the ring has also selected people like Sinestro into the Corps. It doesn't exactly consider a person's moral alignment under its list of qualifications when it comes to its wielders. And Supes has probably been in the DAU universe long enough to recognize a potential Parallax incident in the making when he sees one.
I wanna see more characters universe crossovers. That scene with Kermit chilling with Jimmy Neutron's father made my morning.
Superman was super patient. He could have taken the ring at any time at any moment.
He tried the diplomatic option and when that didn't work he tapped Cell on the shoulder for a conversation and Cell politely fainted and passed out.
Kermit was Spider-Frog and now he is Superfrog.
The Frog Lantern

1M Subscribers!!! LET'S GOOO!!!!!!🔥🔥🔥 So proud of you, DA. You deserve it😁😁
Ooh man, that whole exchange under the force field...GENIUS!
Best comedy moment!
Superman went hard. That Godzilla stomp was hilarious.
2:15 Superman just bodied Cell and Kermit 💀🤣🤣🤣
😂🤣
😂😂😂
I love how respectful, yet powerful you made Superman. I also loved that Death Battle Callback 😂
Superman was SO in character here. I loved it.
*gets stomped by a cool hologram*
Superman: “U know, that was actually kinda cool 😃”
Damn, Superman punked Cell and Kermit... Just like Goku!
Guessing his animated adventures with Miss Lois was a fair trade.
Kermit you’re legit the last person anyone would trust with a weapon that can create projections made from the user’s imagination
0:22 oh sh*t its that dude with some shade and a vest... i think.🤔
I am glad you showed jimmys dad. I thought you forgot about him
Why is this man not at 1 million subs yet?
What cracked me up was when Cell lie on the ground as to say:" you are on your own in that fight against Superman homeboy"
That's actually a cool effect for the constructs! Nice work!
2:10 *overconfidence sets in*
That coping comment got a lot of people talking 💀 even though it was essentially a non canon buffed up Goku against just mainline supes. That Death Battle still cooked and did an amazing job capturing the characters of Superman and Goku.
Superman finally getting revenge on Cell after all these years. I never thought i'd see it.
What did he do?
@@jadenfavor1288 Well, considering that in the Devil Artemis Universe, he co-exists on the planet with Superman, and he still recalls the events of Dragon Ball Z, this must mean that he killed however many thousands of people over a short period of time when he emerged in this timeline.
@@jadenfavor1288There's an old video of Cell vs Superman where Cell uses kryptonite to beat him.
@@javiereduardocarrillocastr6826I was honestly expecting one of them to have that on them.
@@jadenfavor1288 on a older video, cell almost killed superman with a kryptonite.
Never a more predictable (or fitting) phrase at the end of that than, "Well, shit..."
Perfect.
"He killed Goku!!!"
"Yeah, so did you."
Caught me off guard, lmao. Also, Cell trying to cope is funny.
The theme music he used for the green lantern ring is from Green Lantern the Animated series, highly recommend it that show is peak
1:10 GREEN REX APAPARITION 🥳🥳
Thank you, DevilArtemis. That was awesome!
Perfect Cell & Kermit VS Reverse Flash
They would be very screwed for trying to avenge Black.
i dont think reverse flash survived the booty warriors kratos and yujiro hanma
As a Superman fan this was awesome.
Cell: KERMIT GOKU COMMITED SUICICIDE AGAINST ME, SUPERMAN KILLED HIM 3 TIMES...IN A ROW
That was quite a pleasant surprise to not see Superman being ridiculed or nerfed for once, especiallyin a comedy based video with DB characters around ! Good show, DA, good show !!
Cell: Superman killed Goku!
Kermit: So did you.
Me: 😂😂
Ok. I always think I’m ready for anything with Ya’ll…but the bubble butt KILLED me 💀
@2:51 EYYYYYUP thats about right cell would get blitzed if we talking power scaling, i love you cell [pause] but you can't win dude not without batman's stash of glowing rocks from krypton.
personally i recommend grinding it up into powder and blowing it into his face, or making him suck it up [pause] during a chill breath.
yo the music for the end is just perfect, chefs kiss!
Damn Cell hitting that Peter Griffin pose is how we know he got his ass whooped

Dang this is gonna be 🔥🔥🔥
Its about damn time. It took nearly a decade, but he finally grew tf up and did the topic justice. Now thats geniune character growth!
1:34 "We both know that's not going to work."
"You mean this gun with Kryptonite bullets that I just conjured up?"
It definitely still wouldn’t work if you tell him he’s gotta dodge them.
What part of "faster than a speeding bullet" did you not understand
Country boy Kent here showing how to respectfully hold an L.
Kermit brings up Godzilla, "You know what, fair".
Goku's death was one of those heroic sacrifices, so that doesn't count as a victory for Cell. Even then, he wasn't even the first one. Piccolo was the first one to kill Goku.
You got a great voice, my guy😭🗣️🔥
2:23 - Not going to lie, once they established this is the same Superman who cheated in Death Battle, and he defeated Cell by cheating, was fully expecting him to beat Kermit (again by cheating)...
But he didn't cheat in db tho
@@Doyoueverwonderwhywerehere ok, the producers of DB cheated and gave him a script in which his character cheated. He could have refused to speak the lines. So in my mind he's just as much a cheater as Wiz and Boomstick and the rest of them...
@@RyogaHabiki That makes no sense whatsoever. The fictional characters could have "refused to speak the lines"?
Also, the writers really didn't cheat either
@@Doyoueverwonderwhywerehereyeah. He did
@@cantthinkofausername5848 So the human voice actor who exists in real life is a fictional character?
Glad to see the character model for Superman is being put to better use than what Rocksteady did lol
Damn, Cell didn't stand a chance😂
That is the best fan based Superman I’ve seen.
Its not cope if its true, i still remember how they not only used snake way as the speed example, data that would be obsolete by the time of gt, but also cut gokus speed in half from ss1, returned it to base form for ss2 then doubled it for ss3, not to mention how often they fudge the numbers, look at sonic vs mario 2 where they gave marios 10 second invincibility a 30 second length just to beat hyper sonic.
@@cantthinkofausername5848 no im angry that they did it all the fucking time.
@@HyperJohnua Sure you are, that's why you focussed exclusively on a 10 year old typo and something they never even said
Loved those green lantern effects. Also that tears of the kingdom remix is fuckin good
Superman knew that Kermit would've been more OP than him. Lol
More trouble, but OP? Nah.
I mean I imagine he just had no idea how to effectively wield the ring and his will was weak AF. Good well-trained GLs are powerhouses that can contend with superman. Kermit's just a bitch LMAO
Kermit needs a revenge video.
Wish for Kryptonite with dragon balls, fight superman, profit.
1:43 GREEN HOLOGRAPHIC GOJI 🥳🥳🥳🐉🐉🐉
How the hell did I predict him summoning his own Godzilla💀💀💀
Kermit could have just imagined kryptonite.
I love the casual friendship kermit and cell have
0:49 u could always fly Kermit
Funny thing you introduced Godzilla as DC comic just finished having a crossover with the Monsterverse.
1:39 FUCK YEEEEEEAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!!!
Fun fact: there is a DC X Godzilla comic
This has been the most respectful representation 9f Superman we've had in a long time.
Thank you.
1:20 Ok No Cap, dude fighting goku was full on bullshit. Its kinda unfair he won most episodes.
Tru
Most?
2:08
Technically Gokū killed himself by sacrificing himself to teleport Cell to King Kai's planet. But yeah lets go with that
0:57
Kermit Thicc
"Oh look Cell, it's that cheater from the one death battle episode!"
" . . . Uh, I didn't cheat."
No, the writers of Superman did by claiming canon Superman has all the powers of every Superman ever.
" . . . I'm not even mad, that was pretty cool"
The only things they included were from versions that were explicitely restaured, they explicitely excluded alternative versions.
Out of curiosity, how did Superman “cheat” according to the fans?
