    Wine is my drink of choice. I’m in love with buffalo plaid during the winter months. I’m in the process of purchasing everything I need to make glasses and tumblers. Love your video. Thanks for sharing!

    How do you keep the epoxy from sticking to the grey thing holding it to the turner??

      For the most part it pops right off when it’s cured. If there are any bits left, I’ll use a hot knife and scrape it off.

    So is using the razor blade to remove the tape from the bottom really necessary since the bottom was the last part you put glitter on? Because when you peeled off the first sections of tape it seemed as though it wouldn't have mattered if you cut the tape

    • @stephaniesupridesign7417
      @stephaniesupridesign7417  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You’re right! I had originally planned to coat the bottom with the black glitter along with the first squares but kinda forgot about it until the end.

    Hey Stephanie how long do you wait for each coat of glitter to dry? I am trying these for the weekend you did an awesome job

    • @stephaniesupridesign7417
      @stephaniesupridesign7417  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Wendy! I waited 45 mins to an hour for each glitter coat to dry before I moved on to the next layer. Thanks so much! ❤️

    Sorry, i am a newbie but is it usual to drink from a glittered glass without a top space. Beautiful by the way!

    • @stephaniesupridesign7417
      @stephaniesupridesign7417  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Rosie! If I’m understanding you right, the whole glass is covered in a smooth, glassy epoxy so you don’t feel the roughness of glitter when you drink from it. Hope this helps!

    Does it have to be a blow torch or can you use something like a hair dryer?

    • @stephaniesupridesign7417
      @stephaniesupridesign7417  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I find that the hot flame pulls the bubbles out more effectively. I have also used a heat gun and that too will pop bubbles but not quite as well as a torch. ☺️

    Did you sand the rim to even the epoxy ? Or just left it like it was? I would like to make these but want them to be dishwasher safe. Thanks in advance

    • @stephaniesupridesign7417
      @stephaniesupridesign7417  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Ashley! I check the rim after every coat of epoxy. If it’s smooth, I leave it and if it’s rough I’ll sand it with a sanding block until it’s even but still being careful not to sand too much that it takes the glitter off. If you’d like them to be dishwasher safe you can use dishwasher safe Mod Podge. The only thing with that is that it takes 72+ days to fully cure to be dishwasher safe. Have a great day and thanks for watching! ☺️

    • @stephaniesupridesign7417

      I use black electrical tape for when I’m dealing with epoxy. The blue painters tape seems to work better for me when dealing with mod podge and glitter. To each their own I guess! 🙂
