Yep. Great advise. I have stuffed up my shoulder tendons pulling this by hands decade ago.

Nice video! Hint: Try to ask aqualangers with metalseeker to find and bring up your drone (if it is waterproof or at last the optica and the corpus could be fine. )

Fantastic, I often use the hook of my harness. But never thought of putting it around my waist when down hauling the sail. This is going to be easy!!!!❤

Glad I could help! I am also realizing that this is a good trick for kids that don't have the strength to dowhaul their sails all the way.

This is the same rope trick used on tall ships...
On the deck is a short rope attached to an eye on the deck ...15 men on a dead man's chest arrrrrr ...pull on say the peak or throat halyard...
The short rope is then wrapped 3 or 4 turns around the halyard...and holds it with the friction...
He is now about to be holding on the peak halyard a lage amount of wood and sail cloth....with one hand...when he says something like" come up"which effectively means "let go..!"
Holding the stopper rope with one hand....and a lot of wood and sail ....he can then tie or make the rope fast to a cleat or belaying pin.
    I believe that is correct....
And used most likely for centuries on tall ships ...

Thanks Mike! Please create a video about the rigging of the larger freeride Gators! I heart that the batten above the boom should just be at the outter end of the mast and Not moving towards the mid of the mast diameter or even further towards the sails. Is that correct? Thanks Chris
