SLP here: I love seeing you play with Grace, You do a fantastic job modeling and encouraging language and speech with her! I've noticed since your first vlog with her. The sound effects, varied pitch, wait time, repetition, simplified structure, gesturing... **chef's kiss** I honestly might send time stamps to clients. Keep it up 👏
I’ve to say, never have I seen such a good mother in TH-cam. And I’m not trying to be rude too others.. Its just the way you communicate with your daughter and how she learned so young a way to ask for help without talking. Ive never even seen that in real life before. Really inspiring!
Hey! Not a mom yet, but would like to be- but I’ve occasionally dealt with a little bit of anxiety and uncertainty about it, and I just wanted to say that watching you play with Grace makes me feel so happy and hopeful about it (: it makes me feel more excited about what there is to look forward to.
Give yourself no expectations when the time comes!! 💕 Motherhood is truly a journey (so cliche) but I had so many feelings I never thought I would have once becoming a mom.
I'm about to have my little boy in about 3 weeks or so. I agree with no expectations it wasn't until we stopped trying to force it and just focused on living in the moment/not stressing that I got pregnant and the pregnancy stuck. Of course you have to be responsible and a good financial and mental standing. But everyone's journey is different that's what makes everyone unique. It'll happen for you when the time is right. 🥰
I used to feel the same way before I became a mom and being a mother is one of my greatest accomplishments. There’s no manual, it’s really hard sometimes, but I couldn’t imagine not having my daughter in my life!
Hi Sierra! Here's a fun cooking tip if you're ever interested: the juice in the can with the chickpeas actually can be used in other things! There's enough protein in it that when whipped, it acts like egg whites, so you can make meringue (as long as you also use sugar to mask the chickpea taste 😜). I have used it to make vegan pavlovas before, and they're amazing!!
Sierra, 1st….Grace is a seriously cute toddler. I love her little curls. 2) Have you seen the Fanny-pack toddler seat they have now? You clip it on and Grace can sit on your hip. It would be great to see a main channel video of trying toddler friendly type list of products.
I love seeing grace at this age. it was one of my favorite ages I had with my kid who is almost 4 and he talks so much and making so many learning leaps
We did the pokémon choice thing for my niece and she picked Charmander too! She got to keep all three, obviously, and likes all of them, but I’ve only ever heard her say, “Cha-manda!”
I am SO happy the time finally came for you to be a momma earthside 💖 I aspsire to be 1/10 of the mom you are to grace, the love, the support, the learning, is all so so inspiring. You are a wonderful mother, and as it looks to us you ALSO are still being your own individual person and rocking it. You are an amazing human sierra, and I’m so glad I stumbled across you years ago! I too have learned so much from you!!
I think you've mentioned before that Grace is pretty tall, so I think what works for my son might work for her as well re: learning towers, depending on how steady she is! We just use a dining room chair that has arm rests all the way around - I push it up against the countertop so he's boxed in on all sides by the cupboards and the arm and back rests of the chair, and he can easily reach the counter and see what's happening. We already owned a chair like that so it also saved us money and was less wasteful, because we weren't buying an item that could only be used for a baby. If you're worried about slippery floors you can just attach something rubbery to the bottom of the chair legs. If you really want a learning tower, though, then heyshayla recommended a really cool one in her most recent video - it's a learning tower that folds down into a table, so it's really handy for food and craft activities once Grace is done with her high chair.
Hello! Just wanted to point something out incase you weren't aware. It looks like you have an Agapanthus growing in that garden next to the grass you were all sitting on at 14:00 mins. They're poisonous to humans and dogs and can cause some pretty nasty side affects if consumed. Just wanted to bring it to your attention in case you weren't aware as I would hate if something bad happened! Love and light to your family :) x
Grace is so cute!! I'm not a big baby person, other than for my own babies. But every time I see Grace and can't help but smile and think how adorable she it and how much character she probably has! She reminds me a lot of our youngest
There’s a device called a Tripp Trapp (?) that can be folded to be a highchair, a tower with high sides then just a step stool, so usable for children of different ages/at different stages.
You should go to the hair salon with your hair super natural like this. They would be able to add layers to make it seem more tame even without product
its such a good thing that you introduce foods and combinations of different foods to grace at such a young age. i think that will really assist her with wanting to try new foods and more exotic foods as she gets older. thats one thing i kinda wish my mom did with me. yes i could trythem now and tastebuds change and stuff, but now that im almost 30, i dont want to try them. its harder for me to be open to different foods
We just got the sprout toddler tower. It’s expensive but it seemed like the safest one to me. I was slightly anxious about him falling out the open side.
For the learning tower! We use the Kitchen Buddy 2in1 tower from walmart! only $40 and works great!! It also can turn into a normal stool when they are older!
My daughter is one day older than grace and we got the tower before she could fully walk. The sides and back are open and she did fall out once but we just put cardboard around it and taped it. She loves it! And if she falls she is contained in it. It has helped with kitchen independence so much. We got ours off of Etsy.
I got the Qaba Step Stool for my daughter when she was 14 months old and absolutely LOVE it. It is adjustable in height, and also has safety rails that you can remove as your toddler grows. I really love it, she uses it every single day just to be up in the kitchen.
We had the one that turned into a puppet stage or tent, it was awesome my daughter was really cooking with me by 18 months, she could crack eggs mash vegetables and cut soft fruit with a plastic knife. It was so much fun. She also would load the dishwasher and rinse dishes. I just made sure nothing sharp or anything that could break or hurt her was not present.
I'm not someone who gets involved in parasocial relationships easily, but oh my gosh, I am in shock over how big Grace is. I have had a busy month or so, so I haven't been watching TH-cam, but I just decided to tune in, and my jaw hit the floor. How is Grace talking already??? I feel like i missed an entire year? 😭 Edit: just scrolled back to start catching up...turns out it has been more like 3 months 😅
We got the Simplay3 learning tower on Amazon. It’s not the cutest model but I chose it because it’s a slightly shorter height so it ticks nicely under our island overhang when not in use. Bonus that it’s also wipe clean!
My heart! What a nice vlog! Sierra, would you ever consider having shorter hair? Like above shoulders. I don't know why but I can totally see you rocking that style. Those long curls though!
Lol i'm so annoyed at myself. The whole grace playing scene I was clapping and saying YAY as if I was there LLOLOLOLOL! I literally caught myself and was like...what are you doing ?
I’ve been obsessed with organizing tiktok. I’d love to see a vlog of organizing the fridge/kitchen. I love the new recipe content which made me think of it lol
Lol lol actually you responded to Grace when she chose the charmander indicating to her that she was choosing the “right” one… you had no reaction to squartle
Your lunch looks so delicious! I'm going to head out to buy these ingredients tomorrow, and I know for sure my girl are doing to love the dressing, she is a nutritional yeast girl😊
We have the “original toddler tower” by Simplay3 from target. It’s plastic so it cleans super easy and you can adjust the height to 3 different heights which is really nice as well! Our daughter is 16 months and we’ve already dropped the height one level from when we started using it.
Learning tower! If either of you are handy, we DIYed ours and I loved that we could make it the perfect height for my kiddo. And we made more solid sides that felt more secure for us 👍
I know of a book youtuber who does the pokemon starter test with all his nieces and nephews cause it's dangerous to go alone and it's just such a cute thing to do x3
The Pokemon choice activity you did is kinda similar to a Korean tradition called "doljabi" that happens at the child's first birthday party; items that represent different careers/blessings are lined up, and the child crawls towards and chooses an item. Anyways, that's all to say I thought it was kind of cute/fitting that you ended up doing the Pokemon choice activity not too long after Grace's first birthday!
I was hoping for Squirtle but you really can't go wrong with any if them. Every night when I lock my door I say goodnight to all the squirtles out there. 😆😁😉
😊I enjoyed your cook with me video. I am going to try to make this for my family! They will love it. You make it look so easy to make. I appreciate you sharing with us. I also make TH-cam videos. I hope to be able to learn more from each other!
for the learning tower, I don't know If you've ever heard of "Heyshayla" on TH-cam, but she just did a video on a couple different ones that might give you a better idea of what you want to get
Hi :) I'm curious about the cooking portion of this vlog: why do you line the baking sheet with foil? I've never seen that before, in the countries I've lived in (Germany and Sweden) we use parchment paper or silicone liners. Has anyone used both and can tell me if it makes a difference in cooking?
I haven't noticed a difference in how the food cooks. The foil is mainly used to prevent sticking and making it easier to clean up afterwards. I don't think it matters which method you use for that :)

This is so incredibly kind and reassuring, thank you so much! 💕 definitely learning a lot as I go!
As someone working in ECE, absolutely agreed Sierra is doing great with encouraging Grace’s language, communication and vocabulary.
Came here to say the same exact thing!!
i can’t get over how much she is starting to look like you!!
I’ve to say, never have I seen such a good mother in TH-cam. And I’m not trying to be rude too others.. Its just the way you communicate with your daughter and how she learned so young a way to ask for help without talking. Ive never even seen that in real life before. Really inspiring!

💯 right there with you! The music reel of them at the beach made my heart so happy ♥️♥️

Stephen seems like a wonderful father too. Both just great parents by the looks of it I love it
Grace’s little nod and trying to say yes at 2:59 made me giggle so so much🥺❤️ she’s so precious
We did the pokémon choice thing for my niece and she picked Charmander too! She got to keep all three, obviously, and likes all of them, but I’ve only ever heard her say, “Cha-manda!”
Squirtle stands no chance... Babies love red... sometimes green.
it’s so exciting to see Grace communicate with nodding her head “yes” 🥺
We love the Sprout-Kids learning tower. We actually become obsessed with their entire product line and also bought their book shelf and toddler table.
I am SO happy the time finally came for you to be a momma earthside 💖 I aspsire to be 1/10 of the mom you are to grace, the love, the support, the learning, is all so so inspiring. Not me tearing up seeing you use ASL for the word HELP when playing with Grace ♥️ and I'm not even deaf / HOH. But it just made my day!
My 7 month old baby girl Blake and I love watching you an grace while we have lunch, she loves to talk and babble back to grace ❤️
Haha glad to see another goth watching Sierra.

Oh my goodness Grace’s language skills are so advanced! You are such a great Mom, I enjoy your channel, thank you for sharing your life with us!
I literally teared up when Grace chose Charmander. It was so cute and I’m sure a moment you will remember forever 💞
Omg, she’s shaking her head now, she’s just the smartest cutest baby in the entire world🥰
Hello! Just wanted to point something out incase you weren't aware. It looks like you have an Agapanthus growing in that garden next to the grass you were all sitting on at 14:00 mins. She's growing so fast! Such a smart kiddo!
Awe so cute seeing mommy and grace time in the ball pit ❤️
I love love watch your vlogs!!! Grace’s hair is getting soo curly 💕 Also now I’m craving sweet potatoes and tahini 🤣
Grace is so cute!! I'm not a big baby person, other than for my own babies. But every time I see Grace and can't help but smile and think how adorable she it and how much character she probably has! She reminds me a lot of our youngest
Omg I didn't realize how much I missed seeing grace in a vlog😭 she's changed so much since I last saw her! Crazy how fast they grow and change
There’s a device called a Tripp Trapp (?) that can be folded to be a highchair, a tower with high sides then just a step stool, so usable for children of different ages/at different stages.
I’ve owned a trip Trapp chair for years and had no idea it could be used as a tower!!!
You should go to the hair salon with your hair super natural like this. They would be able to add layers to make it seem more tame even without product
You seem like such a wonderful mother. Grace is so lucky to have someone like you as a mother
its such a good thing that you introduce foods and combinations of different foods to grace at such a young age. i think that will really assist her with wanting to try new foods and more exotic foods as she gets older. thats one thing i kinda wish my mom did with me. yes i could trythem now and tastebuds change and stuff, but now that im almost 30, i dont want to try them. its harder for me to be open to different foods
We just got the sprout toddler tower. It’s expensive but it seemed like the safest one to me. I was slightly anxious about him falling out the open side.
So excited to see the pottery!
It’s so good to see you all looking so happy! It’s definitely a life goal of mine to be a mom and you’re an inspiration!!!

Definitely love the little partners learning towers!!
Your vlogs have become such a comfort for me in my life! Thank you for everything Sierra!
Grace is my favorite kid ever. 🥺🤍
So happy to see you play and teach her. 🤍
I would love to see a garden update!! I bet the weather there is lovely for a veggie garden.
Aspyn Ovard has a tower she uses with her daughter. I think she mentions in her videos
Roam Creative Play is a local San Diego small business who does awesome learning towers!!! And they also have piklar triangles/ slides! Love them!!
I got the Qaba Step Stool for my daughter when she was 14 months old and absolutely LOVE it. It is adjustable in height, and also has safety rails that you can remove as your toddler grows.
I really love it, she uses it every single day just to be up in the kitchen.
We have two bamboo learning towers from Amazon that we put velvet pads on the bottom, and love them for our boys!
We love our tower. We got it on Amazon. Our son loves being in the kitchen with us while we cook.
You can know so much about a person based on their started Pokémon, I’m with Stephen on Bulbasaur, but my husband is a Charmander all the way!
I actually LOVE your hair like this!!! I think it's the best it's ever looked - so gorgeous!
I've officially rewatched so many of your vlogs I got so excited when I saw the amount of vlogs coming out this week🎉🎉🎉🎉

Grace is so cute, you both are great parents!❤️
There is a minnie mouse weighted straw cup at Walmart that is like the one you already have for Grace.
My heart! What a nice vlog!

I’ve been obsessed with organizing tiktok. I’d love to see a vlog of organizing the fridge/kitchen. I love the new recipe content which made me think of it lol
Yes Grace! Charmander is the best starter!
Good choice, Grace! I was a Charmander girl too. 🥰
Lol lol actually you responded to Grace when she chose the charmander indicating to her that she was choosing the “right” one… you had no reaction to squartle
Grace is so stinkin adorable!!
Your lunch looks so delicious! I'm going to head out to buy these ingredients tomorrow, and I know for sure my girl are doing to love the dressing, she is a nutritional yeast girl😊
If you don't mind me asking what beach was that and what lake? I'm looking for places to take my family and they looked amazing 👏 😍
She looks so much like you and your mom!!!!❤️
And Austin, too
We have the “original toddler tower” by Simplay3 from target. It’s plastic so it cleans super easy and you can adjust the height to 3 different heights which is really nice as well! Our daughter is 16 months and we’ve already dropped the height one level from when we started using it.
Grace is the absolute sweetest!

Grace is so cute. She truly looks like a toddler now!
You should do her hogwarts house next with different house onesies to choose!
I'm envious of Grace's life. Nice walks and nap time.... *cries in adult.*
Grace is so so adorable😭
You are the kind of mother I aspire to be💓
OMG, she's answering you! She's walking!
Learning tower! If either of you are handy, we DIYed ours and I loved that we could make it the perfect height for my kiddo. And we made more solid sides that felt more secure for us 👍
I would love to see you try some fun hairstyles with your hair! It’s getting so long!
Didn’t feel like doing my hair. Omg, felt that. Especially with it being so hot and just wanting to put it up.
I know of a book youtuber who does the pokemon starter test with all his nieces and nephews cause it's dangerous to go alone and it's just such a cute thing to do x3
Yey for Grace being team Charmander!! She will become a great pokemon trainer!!
I love watching you play with Grace
We DIY:d ours from the IKEA step stool, works great :)
Are those rocks all over the beach? How cool. Our beaches here are covered in shells.
I’m definitely gonna have to try that tahini sauce! Also, I was secretly rooting for Bulbasaur but Charmander is a solid choice 👍🏼
I was hoping for Squirtle but you really can't go wrong with any if them. Every night when I lock my door I say goodnight to all the squirtles out there. 😆😁😉
Grace is so so adorable!!
My toddler is destroying my living room right now and I’m watching TH-cam.
Grace is so adorable ☺️
Grace is going to look exactly like you with Stephan’s nose 🥹😩
Milena Ciciotti has a learning tower for her kids
I love the videos! Can anyone tell me where her blue dress came from? I love it!! ❤️
I think it’s from Old Navy! It’s an athletic dress with bike shorts built in
A learning tower that FOLDS! if not then they just push them around and have access to EVERYTHING 😅🙃
My niece also loves animals. So for her second birthday in about a month, I am getting her this book that had 50 animal sounds in it 😄
What a cute,happy girl.
😊I enjoyed your cook with me video. I am going to try to make this for my family! They will love it. You make it look so easy to make. I appreciate you sharing with us. I also make TH-cam videos. I hope to be able to learn more from each other!
Can you show how you wrap your hair in a plop please?
Walmart has one for a reasonable price and it’s all plastic so you can just take it outside and scrub it down. We have used ours for 2 years now
Also your eyebrows look amazingggggg
What time does the sunset there? The sun doesn't go down here til like 930 😩
Your glasses are sooo cute!
Early whoop whoop! 😂 lol it’s the little things💜
for the learning tower, I don't know If you've ever heard of "Heyshayla" on TH-cam, but she just did a video on a couple different ones that might give you a better idea of what you want to get
Always been a Charmander girl myself!
