The ring can be fitted from the outside of the suit and seal to save dragging it through the arm. With the sleeve the right way round, place the O-Ring inside the wrist seal and square up. Slot the big groove, in the Ali ring, into the seal. The O-Ring should be sandwiched between 2 layers of wrist seal. (You should be able to see the smaller retaining groove in the Ali ring.) A clamp or a second pair of hands is needed to hold the O-Ring in one place while the rest of the O-Ring gets fed round the Ali ring. When the O-ring is all the way round round and check for wrinkles and hay presto, Job Done! This way is better with larger rings or thinner sleeves. (Ps. I work for a UK Drysuit manufacture and repair company, so I see a lot of different suit types)
Would love if you had a video or more detailed description of this approach. I had a tough time doing it inside out and pulling the cuff through the wrist.
quick tip on the glove side when installing the first o-ring - turn the fingers back inside the glove this will allow you to attach the o-ring into the first groove easily and all you have to do is pull the fingers back out
This is an easier install system as follows- ** Remove the entire zip cuffs from your drysuit turn it inside out insert metal band grease o- ring and install it put entire cuff under running water (bathtub) and return outside in (works very slick) finish the rest of the rings/ bands voila' re-install zip cuffs to drysuit but wet the grooves (slick) and/ or watch other video on how to install zip cuffs

how about finishing the video by attaching it to the suit?????
are there smaller rings. I have small hands and thin wrist. A big ring would not look nice ,and too bulky for me. any suggestions.
Hej, the Kubi Rings are available in three sizes: 80mm, 90mm, 100mm. Pretty sure the 80mm won't look bulky!
@@50ftBelow There are also 70mm rings available.
'Doing this for the first time, you maybe dont know how far to stick it in'
forgot to mention to keep o rings lubricated
Your system sucks. If the seal is damaged, you have the end of the dive. The ring is glued to the drysuit and the manchet is mounted on the ring.
