Awesome ride as always!!! That abandoned boat at the beginning made me think of a decrepit old houseboat I found recently in the Hobbs Island canal at mile marker 337 on the Tennessee River a guy is supposedly fixing it up but I have my doubts if it belongs to anyone because it looks sketchy as hell and with the water levels down, it’s become beached. I’ll post something about it this evening on my channel. Getting a nice new GoPro for Christmas btw Edit: you’re right. The camera never does it justice. Every time I go out and record stuff I realize although I’m sharing, it doesn’t come anywhere close to the real experience. Seriously, please try come up here and ride sometime. I’m still going to try and make it down there sometime myself
@@JDsWaterWorld I could ask my friend who’s got a house on Lake Harding if he knows the people with the 15F. Also someone in Madison, AL is selling 2 15Fs but you probably only have room for 1. Also there’s a like new 2008 15F in a boat junkyard 40 minutes from me. Has the engine but no jet pump assembly. The yard owner says the engine isn’t locked up. Let me know if you want the address and phone number to the place
Mike's GP is a lot faster now. I rode his ski on St Patrick's day when it was stock I believe. That LEO telling you to slow down was on a power trip. The only thing you did wrong was ride a PWC. If you were on a boat, he wouldn't have said a thing. I need to get out there and ride with you again. Since I got a boat, I've only ridden my ski twice. I need to do some wave jumping! After the holidays I'll hit you up for a ride.
Hahaha exactly the PO are out in force- and this video was shot on a weekday! You have massive center consoles with 5 engines- those are what shred the manatees- not a jet ski with no prop. Yeah I have 2 weeks of PTO I need to burn before the end of the year so I'm down to ride any time!
Yeah it changes very quickly! I changed out the entire top deck piece, so I still have the top deck with the speakers mounted in my garage. I originally took them off for the wire harness replacement and then never reinstalled due to the amount of time and labor it takes
Great video! Hey,Do you work on engines like rebuild or know someone that does that? a good one for kawy. I have a 2013.im in Orlando and is hard to find a kawi tech.
I do not work on skis, and unfortunately do not know anyone locally who I could recommend. The only shop in the country I would trust would be Kawi Performance in Long Island. I try to empower people to work on their own skis, bypassing the need for a mechanic
Hahah yeah when you look down at the water in the video it looks crazy fast and also feels that way out on the water..anyone that tells you they are doing more than 60 on the ocean is either a superhuman or lying
@JDsWaterWorld I take the ultra flat out here, I'm quite a heavy dude and I get 68-69, it's an estuary here on the firth of forth, it gets really really choppy because it's a small body of water, the swell is not so big, when I go east to the north sea, it's big rolling waves, my friend gets 70 out the ultra,.. He is a bit lighter than me, I prefer jumping the swell, because the chop has you crash through the next wave a lot. We also have lots of shipping, which adds to the chop, and gives us some good launches. 😆 Sometimes we have the water like a mill pond and can sit flat out for ages, avoiding sea birds trying to avoid you, I don't want to impact a seagull at 60 or 70 it's a bad day for all when that happens, but it's so easy done, had several near misses, they see me coming and start flying,... if they sat still it would be better. 🙂
Haha it's a different ski since I did the cold air intake and fuel pump mod- and also the Riva Stage 2 tune- running solid 75+ mph. With the stage 3 pulley on top I should be making close to 375 hp at 8300 rpm
Nice video. Supercharger whine sounds awesome 👍
It sure does! My new KP Cold Air Intake really makes the sound more prominent
Always amazing riding
How fast dose ur one go
Nostalgic!

Are you anywhere near Salem? I'm supposed to get an STX 15f from a shop up there
@ Salem, AL? I’m 28mi away. I had a ride there April last year but that’s it. I’m in Huntsville

Y'all need to slow the fk down when you ride in my neighborhood. 😛 Never thought I'd see a Kawi picking on a yamaha.. 😅🤡
