I agree with your point about Box, but only because it overrides an animation from 2013 with the same concept of becoming a living thing. Loved the finale nonetheless. Also, happy to see BFTD get attention, used to be my favorite object show between 2021-2022.
Yea fr, not even the running part where it was supposed to be sad was sad at all. I ended up with a better alternative that could have made it better: Everyone is running but they realize that they are too slow and that the line is catching up to them. Then a sad montage of happy flashbacks of the relationships between characters happen. But before the line gets to them, Microphone closes her eyes, she goes behind everyone and shouts leading everyone to fly off to the finish line. Then it cuts to Taco flying and realizing that Microphone sacrificed herself and starts tearing up as she sees Microfone smiling back at her. But before the line gets to Microphone, someone grabs her and throws her to the end of the finish line. And as Microphone is flying, she looks back and finds out that it was Knife who somehow managed to resist her shouting, reach her and threw her to the finish line. Then sad music starts playing as Knife nods to Microphone and then is caught by the line right as Microphone reaches the finish line. The scene that we got was good but there was no music, nothing that really made me feel heart broken, I feel like this would have actually pulled heart strings and made people tear up.
