a friend of mine in college, her dad worked at a distribution center that makes an assortment of things, like bottles, lids, cups etc. She said that everything is basically built the same and out of same materials, and then just the company gouges the price. like hydroflask, that bottle does not cost much to make, its all name brand stuff. so it would be just as good as a like walmart brand bottles, or like other bottles made out of metal, its just the companies would buy from my friends dads place and just put their name on it, but its like all the same. like the iron flask and hydroflask have exact same shape and style, only difference is maybe the paint cause of dishwasher. but ITS THE Sammmeeee lolol hope that made sense. thats why i hate name brand stuff with some things
Yes! You’re basically paying for the branding. But sometimes the quality of the materials. It’s good to find a middle brand or store brand
I once worked for Colgate and they do the same thing with toothpaste, roll on deodorant ect. Name brand goes through first then the home brands. Same stuff different labels.

I worked at a cheese factory. The exact same cheese would go through and just get different wrappers and labels depending on which label and store it was going to. Occasionally you'll get a contract where they want something different, either in the product or in the production line (like a certain hygiene/manufacturing standard to be met). Fun fact, their cheese once won both first and second place in the same cheese competition, under 2 different labels.
yea my dad works for an alcohol factory and a large amount is exactly the same ingredients and everything but some brands are like 3× the price. I hear people saying like oh this brand tastes so much better than this brand and I'm like welp they're exactly the same sooo

As someone who does not own a dishwasher, Ironflask wins ALL the way. Free caps? Hydroflask charges at least $10 per attachment, on top of a $30-$50 bottle depending on size.

For the tumblers, I find the knock off just as good but the yeti lids will fit on them so I buy the magnetic slide yeti lids (cause they are easier to clean I feel) and the knock off tumblers.

Just keep in mind that there’s a few sizes of the yeti lids so just make sure you get the right size, for the one like what she had, usually you need the bigger of the two sizes but you usually have to order it online because the stores either don’t carry them or sell out super quick

Yeah, there is no way I am spending 120 bucks on some yoga pants! There is probably something with pockets just as nice as those for less than half of the price if I'm buying $120 pants, they better be able to pass as p.j. pants, work pants, lounge pants, yoga pants, AND be able to go get me a Starbucks. LOL.
Highly recommend Cambivo leggings from Amazon!! They’re super soft, have pockets, aren’t see through, thick fabric and are just overall amazing! They’re cheap but the quality is awesome, I’ve had mine for 6 months ish and there’s been no worry about them tearing in the thigh area.
Ohhhh and they are on sale for only 19.99 on Amazon right now... perfect time for me to try em!!

Lululemon isn’t fully inclusive of all body types. I’m 5’8”, 170 lbs. with a waist size of 32 inches. Their city sleek pant stops at a 33 inch pant. That means ANYONE with a larger belly than 33 inches at their belly button won’t fit into their pants. For that price point there shouldn’t be exclusivity in brand and I was massively disappointed.
Shoot...I LOVE my Ozark Trail tumbler! I use it all day everyday and cannot leave home without it. Keeps my water cold and I usually have just ice left each morning because I drink so much water. I bought my hubby the Yeti and it's no better imo.
I have Skullcandy ear buds and I love them. They're fairly cheap and the quality of Skullcandy has never failed me!

A 30oz Yeti is more like $40-$45. I absolutely LOVED this video, Rachel! I like watching you do these things because I feel like you’re simply honest and just go off of what you think/feel with no bias or concern for the name brand. Great video!

fun yeti tip... if you need to clean the slider on the yeti lid, it magnetic and you can just take it off to clean the whole lid easier!
Fun fact: the slider on the yeti is a magnet. Owned mine for 3 months not knowing how easy it was to clean.

I use the Yeti (it was a gift) for cold water and it stays cold forever. We just got back from the tropics and they put ice in and water and that ice was in that Yeti all day long. It's great for the beach so you always have cold water.
I saw no difference in the mascaras.

I’ve been using the Tozo headphones for over a year and I LOVE them!! So much better than the AirPods and I recommend them to anyone especially since they’re waterproof too!!
I don’t know if anyone mentioned it already, but you can actually use noise cancellation for just one AirPod Pro at a time. You just have to go into their settings in Bluetooth, click the “i” symbol and adjust the settings in there. I use that feature quite often.

You can buy a lid like the yeti lid for the ozark tumbler. I’ve been using the same ozark tumbler for 3 years. I just buy a new lid (at Walmart $6) occasionally

I have the Tozo headphones and i really like them. I dont mind the big case but thats just me. Ive never had airpods so idk if theres a difference but the price was enough for me lol

My mom has them too! I don't have any of the different airpods either, but I borrowed them from a friend once. I prefer my Samsung galaxy buds+ over them, they're a pretty baby blue color!
@@jammer5g6lyaj72 after looking these up they are less chonky than mine! I’ll have to get a new pair! I tried the Samsung ones from my kids and they fit amazing but I had a sound issue with my one ear. I burst my ear drum years ago and still has issues
I have a pair of tozo headphones, that are a slightly better version than the ones she bought ($50), and I love them dearly. I have no desire to spend the money to get the apple brand name!
My husband and I both got these for Christmas as back ups to our air pods. We only use these now. You don’t have to worry about them because if one gets lost it’s not a household bill to replace them. Also if you have an iPhone you can charge them with the same cord. I honestly couldn’t have imagined swimming, surfing, running, hiking anything in my air pods, way too expensive to replace. I can’t wait to do all these things in the Tozo’s.
You can get different caps for a Hydroflask. And the “Iron Flask” isn’t actually cheap when it comes to metal water bottles.
But iron flask includes the caps for free, and the quality is equivalent. Hydro flask makes you buy the extra attachments. Also the video was testing highest rated knockoffs, not the cheapest.

You can get memory foam tips for AirPods on Amazon for cheap!! The silicone ones kept slipping out of my ears but the memory foam ones don’t!!! 10/10 def recommend

One other plus for the Yeti is that the piece on the lid that slides is magnetic. I remove mine before putting it in the dishwasher and hand wash the slider myself. It certainly doesn't need to be because it does just fine in the dishwasher as well. I have been slowly changing out my water bottles with Yeti. I love them.

I used knock off airpods for a few years bc I didn’t have an iPhone. Finally got an iPhone and got some AirPods and absolutely hated them. The sound quality compared to what I was used to was terrible, they didn’t fit well, and the touch sensitivity was poor. Plus I don’t like the silly sticks - I am always removing/adding hoodies etc and was always knocking the AirPods out. I think they’re a big apple con

After seeing the hydroflask portion, I'm surprised Rachel didn't mention anything about the dishwasher for the yeti and knock off. I use knock offs myself, but when I buy gifts, I always buy yetis because they are dishwasher safe, and I haven't found any knock offs where both the cup portion and the lid portion are both dishwasher safe.
(I love my hydroflasks, and bought a couple before they were dishwasher safe, but I found them to stay cold far longer than any knock offs.)
I put my ozark trail stuff in the dishwasher with no issues.
She mentioned the dishwasher bit at the beginning and end of the segment on yeti n iron flask.
Video idea: test products to see if they act how advertised. Like what they say on commercials or online ads. Then rate them accordingly.

I love my giant iron flask it’s even a prettier ombré design. 64 oz of ice cold greatness and it came with a straw lid variation and personally I love it way better then any other bottle I’ve tried which is many.

5:40 Can you interchange the lids? Yeti sells a few different lid options separately, in the event one gets broke or lost or you just want another.
Personally I find most Bluetooth earbuds have similar quality in terms of sound despite price point. There are some that go above and beyond and some that just suck, but most of them are pretty much the same
For the Amazon leggings, there’s a version with pockets that $28/pair
Just as a side note, pop fit leggings are amazing, and suggest trying some of their clothing. (Just don't put the leggings in the dryer it'll stretch it out)
The open close tab on the Yeti is a magnet - so you can take it off when you wash the lid:)
I will admit I’ve bought the Yeti top because my knock off coffee cup didn’t have that feature…my OCD self needs to clean so the top is a win for me 🤷🏼♀️
All the yeti knockoffs I've bought with slide closures like that have little prongs you undo and the lid comes completely apart. That is a deal breaker for me, not being able to completely wash the lid. But also, I'm not spending yeti prices on a cup 🤷♀️

I will say that Yeti bottles in general will hold up better than knock off brands. Also, with the yeti lid, the slider is magnetic so you can take it off to properly clean the lid

I have the same exact yeti! A few years ago I got into a car accident, and my yeti flew across the car. The lid stayed on and no liquid came out! Also, the slider on the yeti comes off for easier cleaning and is magnetic to the cup!

My AirPod Pro allows for noise cancelling with just one in my ear (I use only one for running). I think you just have to assure the setting is set up on that one side.
The mascaras look the same to me. I look for a wide brush to try & make my lashes look thicker.
As an avid water drinker, I own about 7 different 40oz hydro flasks. They’re expensive but I’m in love with them. I can’t deny the iron flask held up just as well but hydro flasks have a special place in my heart
Also the Ozark Trail Tumblers have different lids. But you have to open it before you put it on the tumbler to let out air
The bigger iron flask comes with a straw lid too!! Definitely go for iron flask! Plus they have WAY cooler colors imo
The tozo brand is an actual good brand for cheap, I've had mine for probably about a year without problem so there a good brand on a budget

I had that model then recently got a different pair that are smaller they're like the A1 model and HIGHLY recommend for anyone who has baby ears and is scared that they'll lose airpods. I also have airpods for work and truly prefer my tozos over my airpods. Plus wayyyy cheaper

If y'all are looking for great earbuds that last all day...JLab. My whole fam has them. They are comfy and they can be found on sale for less than $25. My husband has airpods and I don't see what the fuss is...esp since you can lose/damage them so easily. Both my kids have several pairs as do I. 😊
Hiii love you so much just a little tip, people don't really do bottom mascara anymore. It smudges really easy and makes a lot of people's lashes look like spider legs... I mean that in the nicest way possible. Again love youuuuu just tryna help you out a bit since you don't know a lot about makeup!
Rachel get the Dups on the lulu lemons and have a seamstress make you pockets you can buy 2 dups and use the second to make the pockets and use the second pair and make biker shorts with the pair you cut also with added pockets Wala two pairs with pockets way cheaper!!😊

Iron flask keeps my ice cubes still frozen 6+ hours later. My drink is ice cold 24 hours later. And you 100% can toss it in the dishwasher. I've had mine for years.
I use an Owala Free Sip for water and it is the bomb. Stays cold literally forever and has a built in straw that stays covered by the lid, or you can just drink from it like a normal bottle from that same lid. I have like 5 different colors in rotation now 🤣

Best Bluetooth headphones I've found are the Soundcore Liberty ones...... they have a few versions depending on the features you need. I like the liberty 2 because I use only one at a time so I can hear my daughter. No sticks hanging out of my ears getting knocked out. I wear them literally all day and night most days and the sound quality is perfect. I've had mine for 2 years and they're still going strong.
the beats fit pro headphones are the same price as AirPods pros but I think they are a way better value and they come with multiple inserts to fit your ear. They've never fallen out of my ears!

Yes Ozark is Walmart. I forget the tent poles on year so we had to go to the nearest store and it was Walmart to get an new tent and it was Ozark and it's says exclusive to Walmart on the side. Another good to go mug brand is Contigo it keeps it warm or cold for hours. I had ice cubes left after leaving it my silver car with a black interior windows up in 80 F and the ice was still there some had melted after 5 hours but it was super cold.

I have a Corkcicle water bottle and left it in my hot car for hours in the Texas summer heat while I went to a water park and came out and it still had ice in it and was cool as can be. I was AMAZED.
Ugh, you made me want to buy an insulated metal water bottle - I love cold water and currently try to stuff my filtered plastic water bottle into my insulated lunch bag with a couple of ice bricks.
But here in Australia, we can get cheap metal drink bottles that don't have insulation. Like your water would not only not stay cold, but would get hot if you left it outside? And all the actual insulated metal bottles just have the screw cap lid. Rude, guess I'm not rushing out to buy one then.
