HI, i am p physics teacher in brazil and very interested in particles physics, you said muonhnter, but they no longer provide the kit, is there any other place where i can get one? thanks
Hello and thanks for youre comment! ...did you write them an E-Mail? Muonhunter is (or was) a small project, so maybe theres a chance if you ask them? Otherwise ive seen similar Projects Online, maybe search for "Coincidence Detector" or something like that... Last option would be to build one on youre own.. its basically just 2 Geiger Counters connected via a Arduino type microcontroller (maybe you know some Arduino Nerd?). Hope i could help and good luck! :)
yes its a pitty the Project is dead apparently. I think the Guy who ran it moved on with his work life and doesnt have the time anymore.. But you can still find most of the Website if you use wayback machine i think ;)
Really good. Wonder, how things have developed the last 2 years...
That's so cool. I already have had built one 3 years ago.
Does it catch ghosts too???

What is the probability of a muon interacting with both detectors?
its difficult to answer youre question with a clear number, it depends on some factors i guess (how you setup the detector, wich tubes you use etc)
