F2P friendly, completely contrary to what ANYONE does with her, and yet... perfect... I completely forgot that she gains 1 shotshell on dodge, and I guarantee most other people also forgot because all anyone does is run her with Qingyi. I cannot wait for Astra to come out man, this just validated the one random thought I had that a Zhu Yuan mono-ether team could actually be viable. Edit: coming back to this. Yeah, it is incredibly viable lol. One of my new favorite teams now.
Thank you - This is very flattering! This stage doesn't really need a stunner due to the performance bonus and Dead End Butcher's All or Nothing stacks, so I just brought Lucy instead. Initially I used Caesar / Nicole / Zhu Yuan and that worked out fine, but I wanted to see how high I could get with Lucy over Caesar since I thought to myself "Lucy should be better in this instance."
ZHUYUAN gameplay was beyond insane❤❤❤ Most people don't know how to play her properly because of other characters being more famous than her & more investment in other characters than her. You can see she performed insane in not bad with f2p build.❤ If your have ZHUYUAN m1 and her signature and some supports without stunners, she is broken❤
@ I only purchase each top-up option once per year, so its under $200. It took me 306 pulls for M6 Ellen, and Patch 1.0 had roughly 250+ farmable pulls. Even after getting M6 Ellen, I had some extras, which I used on getting one copy of Zhu Yuan.
As a whale, I will comment that even with your exceptional saving skills and all the top up bonuses, it's really impressive that you got seven copies of the character in under 500 dollars spent. The closest I've EVER seen someone get to that level of luck is someone I know getting C6 R5 Arataki Itto in 900 dollars
Seeing that Zhu Yuan comp really makes me excited on if the first Ether Anomaly works with her. She really looks like she'll work with Mono Ether as her second best team apart from Burst DPS, especially with how her M1 sets her up.
Yea.. Bringer is a bit of a tough customer to rack up a lot of points if you aren't playing Miyabi or Yanagi. I had to use Ellen on Bringer though since those were my best odds at getting the highest total score possible.
I see the Ellen damage and i had hopes that Ellen isnt that far behind miyabi,then i see she was m6- The powercreep is real 😭Aside from that nice gameplay and rotations :D
Ahaha.. sorry to disappoint! If you're ever looking to improve your Ellen though, I recommend getting her weapon first then M1/2! With the exact same disc drives, Marcato Desire, and the same support units, I estimate M0 Ellen could get around 25~30k at most on Bringer, though I have no way to immediately verify this at the moment since my alternative account has poverty disc drives. Bringer is extremely Miyabi oriented so it's very difficult to outperform Miyabi in this specific instance.

I'm still undecided on Qingyi. I'm considering her since I would like a better stunner for Harumasa though.. It'll depend on how much I'll pull on Astra I think.

God I wish i didnt skip Zhu Yuan -_- (I was a noobie and Qingyi was getting leaked and she was and still is my favourite character so i skipped Zhu Yuan)
You're either seeing me use her EX Special: Sharknami, then swapping or You're seeing me do Basic Attack 3, then swapping. Ellen's 3rd Basic Attack is fairly long, and it starts the moment Ellen disappears off screen. If you time the swap right, she will appear behind the enemy and continue her attack for a bit before leaving.
You can get some really good damage without M6 or even M1/2! M1 and M2 allows for the most flexibility with her. I was able to test M0 Ellen using an alternative account, but you just have to be on point with your Flash Freeze charges and Soukaku's buff. M0 Ellen can clear Shiyu 7 and most stages of Deadly Assault (provided your other units are also properly built). She is one of the harder characters to get effective damage with due to stack management (and how you build stacks), but her complexity is exactly why I enjoy playing her. The skill ceiling is high meaning there is a lot of room for improvement. tl;dr: Ellen is a character with a very high skill ceiling in order to get effective damage out.
@@apex_kelbi I really love Ellen and her gameplay, but with the powercreep she's already very obsolete. I hope to at least get her weapon someday, although having to invest too much to make it work is not worth investing so much.
