- Eight actors who delivered some of the best performances across films and series streaming on Netflix this year, sat down for The Actors Roundtable 2022. #KartikAaryan (Bhool Bhulaiyya 2), Rajkummar Rao (Monica O My Darling & Badhaai Do), Shefali Shah (Darlings & Delhi Crime S2), #DiljitDosanjh (Jogi), Tillotama Shome (Delhi Crime S2), Vijay Varma (Darlings), Tahir Raj Bhasin (Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen), and Triptii Dimri (Qala) sat down with #RajeevMasand to explain how they pick the. films they do, what drives them to act, how they get into the minds of their characters, and why they do what they do.
How easy Diljit make it look….. he’s honest, real…… humble. How he speaks about Sikh genocide, he didn’t sell out. Oh and how he never speaks in English I love it!

What Tillotama said about rape scenes was so on point. Sometimes, these scenes are just added for effect but have no different layer around psychology of the perpetrator. Case in point, many Netflix series- Pataal lok, CAT etc.

I would really like to say that I first saw Shefali shah in dil dhadakne do, then in aarohan, then I figured it out that it's the same girl. Wow, I love seeing her in more projects coz I had seen her raw.

What an absolute amazing bunch of wonderful people. Karthik was a complete misfit on the table. I’m sure he learned so much more about of art and humanity in this 1.5 hours than his entire career. The treatment of Bhool Bhulaiyya was the main reason for its success. Fortunately, Karthik benefited most from it. Tilottama & Diljit stand out to me for their strong stand on certain issues. While Raj, Tahir, Tripti, Shefali & Vijay made really great conversation.
Couldn't agree more. Compared to all, Kartis has the least amount of sheen and ammunition on his side.

I love this interview and everyone. If I had to choose my favourite few minutes it would be 19:54 onwards, where Paji just stole the show with his humbleness. One more thing I would like to add, there are several roundtable interviews on TH-cam, but I only watch Rajeev Jee's interviews. Always exciting questions 💙💙
