John Piper: I want you to know I am a 70 year old servant of my Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST for the last forty years. As I have labored through some very difficult and tragic times in my life, you have been chosen by God to help and encourage me to stay in the battle through a better understanding of Christ being my all in all, by being my highest pleasure, and greatest treasure, in Whom is all my greatest delight, and Who is most glorified by me when I am most satisfied in Him. Honestly, my dear brother, God has used you to help me fall in love with my Savior, which has stopped me from quitting more than once. Thank you! Only heaven will reveal what your ministry has meant to me and my perseverance over the years. GOD BLESS YOU!

“Tired and busy” definitely describes my life with three little ones. I keep justifying not making more time for studying and reading the Word, but I know I’m not getting the spiritual nutrients I need. This one was for me. Thank you Pastor John.

God has given us all 24 hours in the day, we do with those hours what is most important to us. If your passion is to maintain a certain lifestyle, you will work a lot of hours, if your lazy you will sleep a lot of hours, if your life passion is knowing Jesus you will not consider it a sacrifice to give up other things to run the race.

You are right, except.. we as christians will have to SACRIFICE a lot. BUT THATS THE POINT OF FOLLOWING JESUS. You take up your OWN CROSS.. and for me that is denying the fleshly desires..

I am a 37 year old man you has serious health problems and mental problems and there are days and weeks where I am in so much pain its almost impossible to sit and focus on reading let alone deep study. But I cherish my time in the word and those days where I can dig deep. I have a long term project that Im working on where I am trying to compile all of my margin notes and journal notes of bible study over the years to transfer all of them to my mide margin bible so they can live next to the text of scripture they are referencing. The goal to to basically make my own study bible with my own commentary and insights and prayers and references. I love doing this because it helps me to dig deep and to meditate on scripture and be encouraged again as I see the old notes I've made and how God has brought light to my heart and mind in the past to illuminate the scriptures to me in the past and often as I do, new illumination comes too. However I only really get to do that every so often. I stay in the psalms a lot and pray them. I also like to read a portion of scripture as Im working through a book of the bible and then when Im done I will look at the commentary for those verse in my ESV study bible which helps stimulate my busted brain to meditate on what I just read and then try to pray about it in some way. Most days its very basic. But God has continued to sustain me and cause me to persevere in my weakness and frailty by His grace and for His glory.

      • Lord, please heal our land... 2 Chronicles 7:14
      • Lord, protect those working on the front-lines serving the sick, hungry, poor and homeless
      • Lord, let all Christians and churches reach-out with Your hope and love while people's hearts are open
      • Lord, how can I bless my church financially during these challenging days
      • Lord, please use me to bless others in Jesus' name
We are praying for you today...
I praise You, the only begotten Son Jesus Christ whose word was made flesh. I praise You Lord God for sending down Your salvation unto earth, with a message of peace and hope for each and everyone. Within the trinity I uphold your holy names, thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Amen.
Lord, this world is so complicated and full of evil people with evil intent. But I know that you can even use a bad person to protect a good one. I praise You for knowing what I need and always providing for my protection-even from unlikely sources. I yield to Your plan for my protection, and just simply ask with trusting faith for You to deliver me however You choose to do so. In Jesus’ Name, Amen Shalom.
Father, I thank you for giving me a choice. I ask You always to help me choose the truth and not evil ways. Please don't let me take pleasure in another person's pain. Remind me that my job is not to delight in their suffering or in their evil practices but to rejoice in the good decisions that they've made and the truthful decisions that they've made. Help me to be a part of the solution and not a part of the problem. Amen.
O God, almighty and merciful, you heal the broken-hearted, and turn the sadness of the sorrowful to joy. Let your fatherly goodness be upon all whom you have made. Remember in pity all those who are this day destitute, homeless, elderly, infirm, or forgotten. Bless the multitude of your poor. Lift up those who are cast down. Mightily befriend innocent sufferers and sanctify to them the endurance of their wrongs. Cheer with hope all who are discouraged and downcast, and by your heavenly grace preserve from falling those whose poverty tempts them to sin. Though they be troubled on every side, suffer them not to be distressed; though they are perplexed, save them from despair. Grant this, O Lord, for the love of him who for our sakes became poor, your Son our Savior Jesus Christ.
Everyday we are surrounded with the beautiful reminders of your creation God: flowers, trees, animals, people. I pray that you make me work, to use me as a vessel to blossom and spread my gifts to the world, spreading your joy to all that encounter me, just as you did with Jesus Christ. His eternal harvest is one that keeps on giving, and I pray that you help me give all that I can in my time. Amen.
Father, I ask you to help me to remember that is not by my will or by my strength or even by any authority that I have, that my life is working. I'm not successful because of anything I've done. I haven't really accomplished anything on my own. Everything I've done, everything I have is because You have favored me and I thank You for that. I praise you every day for Your goodness and Your mercy in my life. Amen.
      Day 1
Genesis 3: The first sin creates a need.
      Day 2
      Isaiah 52: Salvation prophesied.
      Day 3
Isaiah 53: The role of the suffering servant.
      Day 4
Luke 15: Three Stories About God's Love.
      Day 5
John 3: Jesus explains “born again."
      Day 6
      John 10: The good Shepherd.
      Day 7
Acts 8: Conversations spread outside the Jewish community.
      Day 8
Acts 26: Paul Testifies of his conversion before a King.
      Day 9
Romans 3: God's Provision For Sin.
      Day 10
      Romans 5: Peace with God
      Day 11
Galatians 3: Salvation unavailable by obeying the law.
      Day 12
Ephesians 2: New life in Christ
      Day 13
1 Peter 1: Future rewards of Salvation.
      Day 14
2 Peter 1: Making your Salvation Sure.
The Lord's Prayer (traditional words to the Our Father) Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory, For ever and ever. Amen.
      ✝️🛐
You, Lord, are the just judge of all the nations. You judged your people Israel for their sins, and you will not do less with the Gentiles. Blessed is that nation whose God is the Lord! But if men forget God and persist down the path to destruction, we know there is a just God in Heaven to whom they must answer. Let us not think that our nation is exempt from your judgments, O Lord, but let us seek real revival that you may bless us and not curse us, as a nation. Hallelujah YAHWEH Shalom YAHWEH.👀🕯️🚦🍇💯💤🔥🩸🤎🖤❤️🤍💙💜💉🥶🌱🕯️⚖️⚕️🎯🎺🦶👃👂💛🧡🇺🇲🏡🐍🌵💚🏳️✍️

Asking The Holy Spirit to help you to read the bible line upon line precept upon precept here a little there a little helps. For The Holy Spirit is The Great Teacher and The Great Guide. And without The Holy Spirit it is impossible to read and understand The Sacred Scriptures.
Listening to true men of God like pastor John Piper, Eric Ludy, Pastor Carter Conlon of times square church, Wayne Levi Price, apostle Austin Debourg, Pastor Paul Washer, Pastor Paul Begley for example helps.
And there are those who like William tapley who although they don't even know it as yet would be called to help out as intercessors in this end times true holy faithful and remnant church. USA President Donald Trump is already being used by God to pave the way for The Great End Times Revival of The Saints. And Terry Macalmon would be used as a great end times prophetic worshipper of God during these end times.
And a woman called Esther by God's servant Kim Clement would also play a crucial role in these end times.

In the Ten Commandments the fourth one I think says remember the Sabbath and keep it holy the 7s day it's in the beginning Bible all the way to the end of the Bible Saturday is the seventh day not Sunday Rome is responsible for worshipping on Sunday if you want to be right in the eyes of the Lord Keep Saturday holy the Jews do

Erich, we are saved by faith, not our works, we are right in the sight of God the moment we trust Jesus as our savior and King!
      I have proof: Romans 3:28
For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.
also, Romans 4:5 says if a person works not but trusts God alone, his faith is counted as RIGHTEOUS. that's proof.
we keep the commandments out of love for God.
