Thanks for the honest and informative video. I have stayed in the beachfront condo area before and will return in the spring. Your video doesn't glamorize things and shows some sargassum in the water. It's become a bigger problem in recent years but I'm hoping that April will see less of it. I also appreciate the info on the dining in the area. None of that was available for my last visit years ago.
Thanks I appreciate it! I always try and show what a place realy looks like or what it has to offer. Because as a traveler myself I don't like showing up someplace and have it look run down or different than all the online photos. But of course Sargassum is a diff story. Some places it's super bad recently. It seems like the last 4 years its only increased. I hope it's not bad when you go and that you have a great time!

You could easily afford one of the condos with the red roofs on Sapphire. And from what I've seen of your room, the rooms on the Red Roofs are nicer. Not to mention you don't have to walk that hill everyday. And the beach chairs are free, just find the beach helper and tip him a few dollars and he'll set it up for you.

Just check out VRBO Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina. Some of the condo owners proport to be the red roofs when in reality it's the ones you stayed in or the ones just north on the beach.

So sorry you rented a bare bones unit. That is NOT the typical unit in the Village. Plus you paid a premium price for what you received. Next time look a little further and maybe get a unit right above the marina to skip the hill.

enjoyed your vid but you overpayed at 200 a night for a small condo you could a got a 1 bdrm down the hill for less
