Well Simon, you somehow foiled your own argument. Yes, it was slippery off line, but as we saw with Bastianini, it WAS possible to pass on the outside, offline. As for the "being ahead" - argument: It's one thing to be ahead (which Pecco certainly was) and another to have passed (which he hadn't). And you can't blame anyone for holding on to his position, which Alex tried to do. So as long as you haven't passed, you simply cannot choose your line freely. At least in a corner.
Pecco was going faster than Alex with the line he took but Pecco had only just got ahead of Alex by about 1 second when he ran into Alex, so Alex who was looking right had no chance to see Pecco.
I am a fan of Simon, he's come a long way from when he started in the front of the camera, has really grown into the role. Simon is pretty impartial. Quartararo does exactly the same as Alex. The only thing that prevents them from colliding is that Enea leaves a lot of space and overtakes without any problem. But he keeps to the inside line and gives it more gas. Pecco lets off the gas because he knows he has lost the sprint because of the faulty tyre. Alex doesn't have to let off the gas under any circumstances, he is competing for the podium, he doesn't cut Pecco off or make strange gestures, it's just Pecco misjudging the corner and getting in his way. If Simon can't see that he should be retired from MotoGP.
How did Fabio do the same he was way off the track and braking Alex was still in the track and accelerating.. nothing like what happened pecco closed the line and took the chance like he has done before unfortunately this time it backfired
Fabio actually ended up in the middle of the track when Enea passed Fabio, with Enea having to go right to the far edge of the track to safely pass Fabio, whereas Alex was at the inside edge of the track corner when Pecco hit him; it seems that Enea is a better rider than Pecco..
With no doubt Alex should have backed out and waited for a proper time to recover the position, which for sure would have been a challenge. He was clearly behind and out of shape to defend. Which are the elements to defend him???

Simon very well knows that MM93 is the best rider when the track conditions are worst hence he is over the moon to hear about the good track condition.
3:53 [This whole thing has been about Marc so far, there's lot of other riders I hope we can cover going into this one ...] It's just barely four minutes into the interview and he is already pissed with MM93's topic and wants to move on but Jack rightly pointed out and shut him up. Check below timeline.
4:11 [He (MM93) is the biggest star in the paddock at the moment and he is the one that sells the ticket...] Yes Jack you are right and Simon should be removed either from commentary or anything related to MotoGP.
Simon hates his life. They’ve been choosing new thumbnails to avoid it looking so obvious.
Simon needs to stick to tech talks, track guides/onboards & pitlane reporting!
@@What.The.Fluff. you are right, he is good at his current job
Not a big fan of either Marquez brother to be honest, but when I saw the front-on camera angle I noticed immediately that Alex's bike was lifted to the left by torque from the rear wheel!
And who is your rider
The crash was a racing incident. Can we move on? Been a great season so far, let it continue.
I hope Diggia Will perform here .
Hopefully Diggia wins at Misano.
Simon is going to be a disaster next season
Simon pleasing his masters
Simon is always biased towards Marquez - just always spitting shit for him. I wish both MM93 and Alex wins that will be a slap on his face

No he isn’t. He doesn’t like Marc. He admires him but doesn’t like some of the things he has done e. He does his best to be fair
@@nickbouvy8851 I think he means biased against them..
With no doubt Alex should have backed out and waited for a proper time to recover the position, which for sure would have been a challenge. He was clearly behind and out of shape to defend.
Which are the elements to defend him???
it gonna be a nightmare for marquez brothers when crafar becomes steward!!
*Subtitles please.
Terrible pass attempt by Pecco. Alex held the line. Pecco came down to him.
You blind? Pecco was ahead. A. Marquez should have held back
Aaah shurrup already
@babvlog607 u arent wrong, BUT Pecco has done this multiple times. He just "expects" other riders to back off and when they dont he causes a wreck. While i wont put pver 50% on anyone fact is Pecco cuts across after passing he is known to do it
It was declared a racing incident! As someone has said before, as there are so many people with different opinions it must mean that it is a racing incident.
@@captaintoyota3171 just needs to finish passing.
Sorry Crafar but your take blaming Alex is wrong. It's ok to be wrong even if you are right most of the time. Where was Alex meant to go? Apex in the dirt?
I hope marc dominates again 😂
Crafar is a worry for next year, bias will really stuff the racing.

Gigi wanted to strangle Alex that day😂
No, Gigi knew the move by Pecco was stupid and that Pecco has a history of making stupid moves in corners, colliding with riders that didn't see him, such as the Marc and Maverick crashes..
@@petesmittexactly. Reaction from the Ducati garage wasn’t anger and Alex but rather annoyance with Pecco because he’s done the same mistake again.
Not good comments from Simon. He says nobody will agree on this. So then just shut it uself.
It seems to be avoidable, inside the curb you can keep your speed,if you need to keep your balance, the intention is noticeable!
Simon Crafar tries so hard to be impartial but he just can't hide his animosity towards the Marquez brothers and it gets in the way of his judgement. For him to be on race direction is quite concerning when he's doubling down on incidents like this... I don't want to wish the guy doesn't get the job but I just feel his one eyed views and salty attitude will make his decisions unfair.
I hope Pecco will bounce back and close in championship points with Jorge.

Alex Marquez hasnt any place to go when Pecco closed the door in a nasty mode. Pecco commited a mistake he could avoid an surpase Alex in the next corner... But again feelings, he lost the third place for didnt adapt
Simon the stewards, its a disaster in motogp. Especially the incident between pecco n alex, his opinion is........ Gigi "simon you're my man".... boooooo..... DUCATI SIMON
I fell that question “if Pecco …” is disrespectful. Pecco is fighting to the Champion … on the other end why not question also “If Alex …” that is a waste of space and should move to other sports. To finish just to say that thank god Freddie Spencer is vacating the Race Direction role (is already going late)
@@ricardocosta951 Again, Alex is NOT a *waste (not wast) of space! He's a Moto3 & Moto2 Champion & he's currently 10th in this championship, where he's had 5 podiums & a sprint win! You should move on to other things, like back to your video games!

Good on you Simon for pulling up the MM obsession from your co commentators. He’s actually not the one that sells “all” the tickets. I too enjoyed seeing Marc back on top but the commentary pre, during and post race is out of control.
Exactly what does Jack Appleyard offer ? He has neither personality or knowledge and a grating voice. Next
Why is Jack trying to put the blame on Pecco? He's trying to put words in Simon's mouth...
