Stumbled upon these Pub Choir videos - now I am addicted. Watching all of them, and some twice. Thank you Astrid and to everyone concerned; this brings joy and tears in equal measure. I cannot imagine living in a country where music, dancing and easy living is banned. We in Australia, the USA, The UK, Ireland, Wales, European countries, NZ etc are so fortunate. Do not take this freedom lightly, it is easily lost. (from a 75 year old granny who notices so much out of kilter in the world and is sometimes fearful for my grand son)
Everytime i watch your Videos I keep thinking why people don´t do this on regular basis, like at a busstop or trainstation, the feeling to sing with or for other is great.
I live in a small SA village and each year around the 14th December the one guy holds a jamboree, with all the singers who want to form bands and such that come and play at his place for 3 days or so. Normally they are people we never know, but they form bands just for that event. It is a blast to hear the local talent, some of which is excellent perform their songs.
Still listening with glee in 2023! Singing there that night with my family in the front row was a heartwarming experience and a great honor. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
In the seventies someone sang a song about how they would like to “teach the world to sing, in perfect harmony”! I wouldn’t say this is perfect harmony😂 But if somebody is going to give it a try....this is the way to do it!🎹🎸🎻🥁🎼🎼🎼 Magic! Pub Choir!👍
I had an amazing time at this event. Astrid and Meg were hilarious and fantastic at working the crowd. This was so much fun to learn and sing. What a great event and memento. Keep up the good work!

The perfect musical life experience
