Coming at you today with an all new scooter life hack! Todays debate, will WD-40 work as scooter wax? I grabbed a can of WD40 from the local auto store and went over to the skatepark with that one question in my head. We all know that WD 40 is a very slipper substance when applied to any flat surface. But, will it help you slide on a rail or ledge? Cal Oaks skate park is my local park and nobody that goes there really grinds much. So, I decided to try and help out the rails and ledges by spraying the lubricant directly on them. We also had one of the local scooter kids named "Gurt" try it out as well. Gurt was having a great time until he got a little too comfortable on one of the bigger ledges. Me and my friend went to a local shop and bought 10 massive candles for $2 each! And they are perfect, keep in mind I live in Australia so the prices would be different. But I recommend just going to a shop and buying cheap candles and using them for wax.

Wd40 is not a lubricant. Is a degreaser. For example. Spraying wd40 in ur bearings will clean then but also dry them out

wd40 I use all the time for a substitute for wax and it lasts a long time if your grinding concrete gutters like 3 weeks not quite short on metal tho
