    great tip-- good to see someone who actually understands the chemistry and doesn't mix the soda and vinegar beforehand, making them inert once you're actually cleaning!

    Baking soda and vinegar works for cleaning fine jewelry also. It doesn't harm metals or stones.
    Mix even amounts in a low dish or cup. Drop in jewelry while it's foaming. Use a soft toothbrush to get in the nooks and crannies. Rinse and dry. Jewelry will look store new again.

    For food spills, simple dishwashing liquid and water cleans everything. Cuts grease. Soak it a little if its stuck on. Then to get surface streak-free, follow up with a spray of plain Windex and wipe with paper towels. For just grease splatters wipe up excess grease with paper towels then just use the Windex. Dont forget to activate the touch screen lock out feature when cleaning the control panel. Streaks reflecting on the black stove panels under the grates drove me crazy until in desperation I took out the Windex. It works on glass door fronts, why not the shiny black stovetop? Perfect! Ammonia and water is the best grease cutter.

    You could also use half a lemon instead of vinegar, it smells pretty tasty! I only do it if I have leftover lemons though

  • @annhans3535
    @annhans3535 ปีที่แล้ว

    I do the same thing. Also, quickly clean everyday, lift up the grills and wipe down the stove top quickly to get rid of spills, fallen food and oil splatter. Put some dish soap on a cloth and wipe it down. You have a clean stove top everyday and nothing gets baked in.

    **Will you please do a video on how you’re supposed to clean the grates? We moved into a house with a stove very similar to the one shown in your video. What’s the best way to clean those?? They always look dull. Also, any opinions on why it is that the more expensive the oven the less likely it is that it will clean itself? It’s so frustrating!

    I use only water, vinegar, lemon juice and baking soda to clean with, however, when that dries it will need to be wiped again bc bicarb leaves a residue that if not removed can get baked on and then it becomes a problem.

  • @meme7591
    @meme7591 ปีที่แล้ว

    Okay I'm going to save you all of that. There's a stuff called "Abenaqui cleaner" on Amazon and it's made in Vermont and non-toxic the people on plants. If you can find it in a natural store you were golden. I use this to clean my glass top and all my stainless steel,it takes rust off of metals, it takes film off of glass like you wouldn't believe how good that is. My white handle on my fridge took that stuff right off. You know how Mr eraser can take some coloring off of wall sometimes nope doesn't do that. Takes pine sap off my hands. It takes grease off of things. And you know that sticky residue from stickers that takes that right off to. It took the yellow off my headlights. I also have very high iron and the clear cover on my filter. I put a pinky tip finger amount onto my fingers and I smeared it inside the container and the rush just fell like butter. Now I tried bleach. I tried all the cleaners that I had. It would not take it off. It would tint the paper towel a little orange that was it. I'm telling you this stuff is the best stuff in the world!! Please give it a try I'm telling you right now. It's made in the USA and I'm allergic to everything and this didn't even make me sick. This did no reaction on my skin whatsoever. I don't even know these people that have the stuff. I just know that this is the best stuff I've ever used in my entire!
