The next few times you paint, see if Paul can be in there at the same time to help teach as you go. Just buy him a nice dinner or something each time. Definitely a skill that takes time and experience to learn, so no shame in that! Nice to have a bro who knows his stuff and is willing to help out

As a professional Painter. Ben i dont recommend spraying over Ecoat only, should’ve seal the entire hood to have a strong foundation for your base and clearcoat. I paint with Sikkens as well. Hats off to Paul for finishing with a slick paint job as always. Good job guys

Glad you plan to sell some cars! Nice to get some liquidity back with cash and simply don't need that many vehicles. Don't become Goonzquad where they stack up tons of cars that never get used and start to fall apart over time.
You really should wear the body suit when painting. The paint, clear, and whatever else is being sprayed absorbs through the skin as well
I think you did a pretty good job of painting, I used to keep damaged panels they're going in the garbage. And that's how I learned and practice to paint. All you really need is a little more practice and you'll have it . Awesome job God bless

You need a spray booth at your shop. It will save driving vehicles back and forth to your Dad's shop.

Car is looking good and you’ll get the hang of painting in time. I did see quite a bit of trash and major orange peel that’ll hopefully get buffed out but otherwise it looks great.
You know practice makes perfect with that painting.
