- I still can’t believe I saw Lucy and Renée in real life - a dream came true. A few videos I took when Lucy & Renée were on stage. I was sitting in row U, so quite far away but the camera did an okay job and I’m happy to share the moments that I captured :)

I was there! This was my first Xena Con! Glad I was finally able to attend one of these, especially after the number of times this one was delayed. Tons of cool people there, it was a fun experience. Thanks very much for uploading this for us!

Nada acontece por acaso. Xena é uma série inesquecível pq tinham pessoas especiais atuando nela. Amo os comentários de Lucy e Renee, realmente são atrizes talentosas, lindas e amigas. Tem gente que critica Lucy em alguns vídeos pq parece estar entediada com os assuntos sobre a série, mas ela se sentir assim, é perfeitamente normal. São 28 anos de Xena, e fã que de fato é fã, compreende isso sem dificuldades.
Não duvido que ela tenha muito amor por esse trabalho e pelo seu público, mas ela é humana como todos nós, né? Responder quase às mesmas perguntas por anos deve ser muito chato, sim.😆
Xena fez parte da minha adolescência. ❤️ Amo L&R, e até hj, eu torço para elas ficarem juntas na vida real (perdão, Rob... Kkk). Obgda por compartilhar esse encontro! Abçs 🇧🇷

Thank you for sharing your video, giving me a glimpse of Lucy & Renee at this 2022 con. I've been lucky enough to see them at previous Xena cons so I can understand how you feel having seen them at this one. I wish I could have been there for this one, too.
Ok, I finally had time to watch the video, here are my comments:
- 6:33 was probably about XWP being dubbed over in different languages and Renée said she loved the Italian one in which they also changed Gab's name into Olimpia
- 8:42 What was that about Season 1, Ep 3?
- 10:12 I don't care Lucy is doing fanservice there, she said she was a little bit excited about kissing Renée and I'm all for it lol
- 20:00 Lucy choosing tardigrades as deep sea creatures (what was even that question?) and Renée sea horses HAHAHA, I understand Lucy cackling i'm dying lmao
Also Lucy for being 54 years old never loses her beauty

Maye an animated sequel to the original show wouldn't be so bad eh? This way, the original cast may still be on board, and they would be able to pick up where they left off.

Wow. She hit the wall hard.
Interesting women....back in the day the pay was fare for young actors but armor had to be created by finding a blacksmith, it was literally a medival stone age of warrior women. You want a riding horse scene,oky find one tame it and ride it. That series was like the lost paradise...of thai's workshop. Lucy understood the value of money and friendship...both women amazing. So much information....improvisation capabilities...but a notion of freedom. But there is more...they were even smart enough back than to recognize through kevin genetics, a difference between modern and ancient man. And what is the difference?? Technical orientation, moments of jealousy between the directors and of kevin's persona. Everybody wanted xena...but actually refused gavrial as she had artistic nature, but rather prefered the technical. An ancient war between king agamemnon and what is left of mesepotemia.
I am afriad that gavrial is one of the last mesepotemian women.

Very funny was to see new actors joining every now ,and than but it must had been an awful experience..as food should have been gathered and fire should have been ignited. Survival series fanatics, i mean think about it eating your own horse just to survive a 3 days scene or even other actors. It was hunger games i am just saying...

It was so bizarre how it was decidsd to create a romantic bond between them. They were sisters, family for god sakes! It just didn't make sense
It makes sense for Lucy & Ren and a lot of other people :)
It was pretty obvious Xena and Gabrielle were romantic towards each other with how their hands caressed each other, kissed each other and flirted with each other. Both weren’t acting sisterly at all because you certainly wouldn’t kiss or flirt with your sister and they acted like two mothers to baby and adult Eve. They also were domestic like a married couple in the episode when Gabrielle argued about the frying pan, Xena used her scroll and when that guy asked Gabrielle if Xena wanted to settle down to have kids and Gabrielle said “she likes what I do” in a innuendo way

Does anyone out there reading this happen to have a video of Timothy Omundson at this convention, or did anyone just take some notes or have any stories to share in comments about Tim's appearance? Anythng at all would be greatly appreciated by this admirer of Eli!
Tim was a real trooper for attending after being added only a couple of days before the Con since we had other guests cancel, unfortunately.
Tim discussed his recovery from his stroke (which I knew about beforehand, but quite a few fans didn't), his experiences on Psych, a cool story about Lucy Lawless taking him to an amusement park in NZ before his first day shooting as Eli, how much he still enjoys "Devi," and expressed how much he misses Kevin Smith to this day.
I'm sure there's someone out there who can elaborate more on his appearance, but that's what I can recall! Real happy I was able to see him on stage.
