I nearly shot my first 300 in league today, but the 11th ball went light. Had to settle for 289, but i'm not giving up. Thank you D-Tang for the motivation every vlog! 🔥
my personal best is 251 in league,but since then i never did anything like this ever again(currently average is 129, without training), i cant exercise because of money and time.
Congrats on that last three to prove.. never quit. And "when in doubt, move right and fire" is my favorite strategy. Best to you on the upcoming tournaments.
I see Darren started out with the Gem. I just got this ball and it instantly improved my game. By far the strongest ball I have ever thrown. I jumped from a 190 average to 213 and Bowled my first 279 game! All strikes but a 9/ in the 7th. I feel the 300 coming soon with the Gem!

hey darren huge fan and i know your hard on yourself cause you know you can accomplish a lot, but your mindset is suuuper beneficial if your able to stay more relaxed. if you think your next shot is gonna be bad it probably will.

I love the vids. I noticed a few vids ago that your keep a log. What are you keeping track of?? I have started keeping track of my shots. Good release, Hit my mark, and good attempt at spare. It gives me feed back at the end of the night to see what I need to work on.
@Darren Tang, not sure you're aware(you probably are), but your solid strike shots are when your hips are more square to the foul line. Every bad shot, whether it carries or not, your hips are pointing at least 1 lane to the right.

Genuine question on ball changes: ik a lot of people like to say stuff like "if you don't strike 3 times in a row then you should switch," but I also noticed like Darren stuck on the Phase 2 through almost the entire bad game. There are a lot of times where I'll think about switching to a ball but then I second-guess myself and there are always those times where I feel like anything I throw is just going to suck. Any tips? (I'm around 215 but still clueless on this stuff tbh and it's definitely cost me a couple times).
From my limited understanding, pro patterns he's playing on are stupidly difficult. It's not like your average bowling alley lanes where league players bowl 220+ on average. Bowling over 200 on these lanes would be like bowling 260+ on typical lanes.
I bowled a 95 my last game last week lol! Two washouts, Two splits, two chops, 10 pin miss, washout, chopped 6-10( wiggled the 6😡) then 8/ and strike. I didn't give up lol!
The playlists is honestly some of the best parts of these videos. I wish the creators would try and create a different style of showcasing these games instead of us just seeing back shots from the stands and heads walking by with sporadic commentary.. I love the commentary, love the flow of the transitions in between scenes and love the music and vibe of the episodes but the majority is back shots in the stands and that would be the creative problem I see
Very difficult to get a cameraman that isn’t under the PBA in the bowlers area. We will continue to find new ways to bring you the content you deserve!
@@DarrenTang you'd think the PBA would understand the free advertising they are getting from the pro TH-camrs and willing work together to grow the brand.

I’m no coach, but Darren looked much more patient this week than he has earlier in the season. His tempo was slower and he looked like he waited for the scores to come this week. Keep up the good work!!
