The manufacturing units related to any industry should only be allowed in non-arable lands. But all the farming land from farmers are being acquired cheaply by government and given to private players for setting up their manufacturing units. In the name of development, the government is making the living difficult for those farmers, animals and nearby villages to those 'clusters'. We are already spoiling the farm land by using fertilizers, insecticides and other chemicals. What we are eating now is not healthy. On top, in the name of development, if you keep spoiling the remaining farmlands in the one of the most fertile country like india, our future generation will have to live with unhealthy and heavily processed food. Too much of capitalism does equally bad for any country. yes the country might become rich but not the happiest. I'm not against development or capitalism, infact I support it. But there has to be very strict regulations on the initiatives we take. I belive in sustainable development. Not sure how NIMZ project got all the allocated land. Don't know how the environmental clearance department declared the land to be non-arable. If that's the case farmers would have not put their lives on them and government need not have to aquire from farmers. These lands are highly arable. Give the land that's not fertile for industry, if that land doesn't exist around city like hyderabad or a state like telangana, so be it don't have to create such land. There are many ways for a state to develop, including farming and using other resources.
