I feel like YG really supports BAEMON personally and wholeheartedly and It's actually rare to see the boss of the company announce about a hiatus member face to face and i love yg for this, They will undoubtedly continue to be a successful group that grows very quickly. Yup! It's nice to hear it from YG personally it's nice that they address a little about ahyeon. It solidify that she is still part of the group and hopefully in 2024 she recover fully and rejoin. YGE it seems the company is changing a little by little cuz we don't really have this kind of update for the so called "health issues" thingy in the past. 2024 is going to be a great year for YG artist fans! The topic with Ahyeon is that It doesn't depend on YG, as if YG could make Ahyeon's health improve, it's not about him making her come back, it depends on her and her family. Ahyeon may not be coming back in a while. It is her personal thing that she has to fight against! It’s not anything that you guys can affect on and you only have to give her some time an peace until she decides to come back. She will hardly come back for the February 1st song, so stop being selfish with the talent and effort of the other members.
This isn't about being selfish but with these companies in K-Pop you never know what really is going on. Looking back on past cases it could've easily been the case that something happened and they just got rid of a member silently. I don't want her to rush things, it's just reassuring hearing someone official from YG talk about her. It would be nice to see her again at some point with Baemon but of course health comes first, I don't think I need to say that since that should be common knowledge.
Thank God YG listened to the GP audience instead of the die hard YG stans lmfao Thanks YG for listening to us the people that asked you to release songs that can highlight the girls vocals instead of pushing them back with the repetitive old fashioned YG hiphop sound and style.. A lot of people said to me: "OH, but that's YG sound! They should keep doing hiphop!".. Look at YG actually thinking for once and doing something good this time. Plus, YG is not all about HipHop, that tells me ya'll are not real YG fans because if you were you would know that groups like AKMU and WINNER exist, they don't do hip hop (winner if they do they do it as a b side).. AKMU is all about the vocals and amazing melodies, nothing is hiphop for them. So im guessing BABYMONSTER will go for the AKMU and WINNER path, and I LOVE IT.
Or they could just do both 🤷♂️ way to early to tell, maybe they establish a Baby & a Monster sound similar to Red Velvet's Red & Velvet sides for example.

Im saying YG will probably now focus on the girls vocals and uniqueness and promote that side instead of relying on old stories. A MONSTER can be: Rock, metal, heavy EDM (noise music like Stray Kids), hard hitting R&B (like EXO does), horror pop (gritty music like billie eilish).. It doesn't have to be HipHop to be ''monster'' I actually thought Batter Up goes more on the ''Baby'' side sith those lyrics and concept lol
The song from February 1st seems it was already recorded so its difficult to Ahyeon to be in, when she hasnt come back because of her health so dont start with comments where you only want to listen Ahyeon as if the other members dont exist
