Joon(RM) took part in writing the song’s lyrics, which expresses the emotions of a boy who is confident that his love for a special girl he met in this chaotic world is real. The title of the track is an equation representing the story of a boy with a hole (0) in his soul in a world full of zeros (0) and one (1) girl who approaches the boy.
Yeonjun has a mental illness. In the beginning, you see Yeonjuns parents are arguing in the back, which kind of triggers him and he steals the keys and leaves. He sees the boys but they aren't actually there, the fishes symbolize the members. You could say that the boys are his safe place. 2:51, when they're in the car you can see Yeonjun is wearing a green ribbon, which is a sign of Mental Health Awareness. At 5:58, you can only hear Yeonjuns voice and his footsteps symbolizing he's the only one there. In the end, when he wakes up, you can see he's the only one there and the car is perfectly normal.

The whole MV is not abt the typical love story of a guy and a girl but instead, it revolves around Family, Friends, and self. " In this world with full of zero, you are my one and only" which interprets about parents as caring, loving, and understanding of their children. As we can see in the MV, YJ's parents were arguing, it's always like that, and that's why it triggered Yeonjun's brain which cause him to have a mental illness, It's Maladaptive daydreaming, it's a psychiatric condition. It was identified by Professor Eliezer Somer of the University of Haifa in Israel. This condition causes intense daydreaming that distracts a person from their real life. Many times, real-life events trigger daydreams. We could also see Yeonjun driving, and on his wrist is a green ribbon, which symbolizes and logo of MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS ( YJ is portraying someone who has a mental illness with all those hallucinations that he went through and raising awareness by having his own ribbon on his wrist)
He wants to escape the bitter and painful reality of living in a toxic environment that's why he created a fantasy where he's with his friends and happily hanging out with them. But the truth is, it's just all part of Yeonjun's imagination and hallucinations. We can see him staring at the beta fishes floating, those were the members inside of it because they are just pigments of his imagination. We could also see that the members kept seeing those fishes, the fishes were everywhere around them. It feels like it symbolizes that despite the happiness that they were experiencing, it reminded them that everything was just a fantasy, the world of fantasy that they were all trying to live in.
In these lines:

It has so much meaning, we've been suffering and mentally unstable to the point that sometimes we just wanted to end our lives but despite all of that, we're still hopeful that someone can save and understand us.
This song (0X1=LOVESONG) is reminding us that in this world that is full of UNCERTAINTY and EMPTINESS we just need 1 person to understand us.

It IS the typical love story of a guy and a girl. I’ll never understand why some of you try so hard to make songs seem ‘deep’. Saying it’s about ‘family, and self’ does not make it any deeper, these are still very very very common struggles…

TXT's music is one of the most versatile in the k-pop industry, I love how they keep on exploring different genres and giving it their own colors. And they produce one of the best discography in the K-pop industry!
Their storyline is one to look out for as well. When they were young, they met at the starlight festival and played together, letting their imagination create a whole new magical world. They, therefore, made a promise to the star that they would be together forever. However they ended up separating and the star fell asleep. As they grew older, they started growing pains and fears that manifested onto their body like horns, pointy ears, spikes, odd eyes and wings. Have they become monsters? They wondered. The boys met again, but they didn't remember anything not even each other, why they met and what they had to do. As they reunited, they started to grow a friendship once again, playing and laughing with each other. They created the magic once again and started playing with it as they pleased. Reversing time, freezing the magical moments they created with their imagination. But dealing with something they don't know well, ended up messing with their reality, as the magical world they created started getting mixed with the reality and soon falling into chaos. Their friendship started falling apart as jealousy, distrust and death got on their way. They started fighting and they didn't know who to trust, what to remember and if they could be saved. A greater power out of their magical world is now flying in the sky (the dragon). It starts attacking them, destroying their friendship, their dreams and their world. Trying to save everyone and their friendship, they make a deal with an odd eye cat, but that power came with a price that they would suffer to pay. Now, as their monstrous side are surfacing and chaos is taking over their lives, they must remember a name, a name that needs to be called, a true name that might help them. They also must remember a song, the song of the star, that once they sing it together they can save their friendship.
They create one big story about five boys who are growing up, accepting themselves, examining their friendships, and navigating promises and betrayals.Just like the puma in the song is both a victim and a monster (since it's trapped in a cage, but letting it out of that same cage might be dangerous), TXT's characters are both angels and devils!

Yasssssssss TXT have grown so much! My favourite songs are Opening Sequence or Dear Sputnik which are very different types of songs but they are the ones I have to repeat.

P.S. My favourite songs are MOA Diary, Blue Hour, Run Away, Magic, Lo$er=Lo♡er, O×1=Lovesong, Maze in the Mirror, Devil by the Window, and Crown. I do suggest starting form 'Crown', their debut song and working your way up, though. And since you began with O×1=Lovesong, I would suggest watching the Lo$er=Lo♡er mv because it's sort of like a continuation for this mv, almost like an emo core remix of Lovesong.
this song was released in 2021. i really love the vibe from their comebacks in 2021. after this song, they released loser=lover which has the similar emo rock style. as a moa and army, both groups have special place in my heart.

For the question of the day, my favorite txt song is Farewell Neverland, a song about a wake up call to reality, it tells that no matter how beautiful the illusions, dreams are, it is not our home and it is just a lie. It's such a beautiful yet sad song, I got so attached to it since I am on the stage of not yet wanting to leave my youth and carefree life, but responsibility calls for me.
And honestly, I love all of their songs, even sometimes I love their b-sides more than the title track haha

what a nice surprise :) txt is one of my top 3 ult groups alongside bts (and another group called nct). txt literally has no bad songs, everything they release is so amazing! They are so talented and hard-working and have amazing and lovely personalities!!! Very kind-hearted and funny:)) They just has an amazing comeback recently called Sugar Rush Ride and the whole album (The Name Chapter: Temptation) was absolutely amazing (no surprise there tho!!)

you know what, there is a theory that TU (TXT universe) is actually connected to BU 😁. Fans have found hints here and there in both storylines, i don't remember much but there's a Choi kid mentioned in HYYH notes which is speculated to be Yeonjun's character.
I am a MOA so I love all of TXT songs I can’t choose :) and yes TXT has a huge storyline ever since their debut it is very different to BTS’ it is very fairytale-esque . I do understand that watching TXT for you guys you still consider them BTS’ little brothers as they are of course, but at some point you must separate them from BTS and not compare them as they are their own group and they are wildly different from BTS in sound and personality. They are much older and more mature now since you last saw them and they have definitely become they’re own people after all they’ve been through :)

Witnessing this comeback in realtime was a wonderful experience. I remember the collective shock we all felt the moment we watched the mv. The song is so powerful, and it easily became one of those songs that’s hard to forget. Its impactful in a way where I can make an essay of just how good it is. The emotions TXT displayed in singing it was the most impressive in my opinion. Big Hit released several remixes of the song. An acoustic version, ft. pH-1 and Woodie Gochild, ft. MODSUN, and Emocore mix. And it all made me feel different angles of that same painful angst. One feels more angry, another feels more melancholic, another feels frustrated and tired and etc. Its just such an emotional song.
The whole freez album is a love story.. How it started being scared to love then that person became the your whole world. It's like a magic until it starts to disappoint you and you broke up at the end. The next album Thursday's Child which is a story about stages of grief...After the acceptance in Thursday's Child newest album is about temptation of maybe the ex wanting to comeback but at the end they bid their goodbye...
One of my favourite from TXT is "We lost the summer" which came out in 2020,talking about covid and how it was for some people (like you were in a dark place or alone,etc)

I'm not a moa but I've been following them since their debut I listen to their songs and love all of them and I can tell that they are getting better and better every comeback. I have many favorite songs some of them are 'Opening Sequence, Anti-Romantic, Frost, Sugar rush ride, Blue Hour, Can't you see me'. I recommend you to check out their latest album, they broke records with this album. The members are so sweet and have good personality, definitely recommend you to watch a guide if you want to know them better

Omg SO happy to see some TXT on here. I would totally be down for a hell of a lot more, they are amazing! Bang PD actually wrote this song but he got stuck on a certain part and asked Namjoon for help and Joon helped him which is why he was added to the writing credits. I think it's too hard to explain the TXT Universe, it's just as complicated as the BTS one and involves magic. You should go back to the start and watch all their MVs. My favourite title track is their current one (Sugar Rush Ride) but the thing with TXT is all their B sides are amazing too and soooo many of them could easily be title tracks. I love No Rules (look up the live performance to that, it's so fun), Popping Star, Wish List, Opening Sequence, MOA Diary, Frost, Magic and Loser Lover - too many to mention really 😂

im not a moa but txt is still very close to my heart. they are a bunch of lovable goofy boys that are also very talented. so in some ways very similar to bts but otherwise entirely different, they are their own group and do their own thing, and they do it really well.

Just answering your question of, “how much is RM involved in this”. He was one of 12 writers. Bang PD was struggling with the chorus and asked RM for help, so RM did part of the chorus and changed the English words to match the theme in Korean.
That’s the only song he has helped out with.
Finally a txt reaction! Btw familia this is where you’re gonna see toxic armys come out because pure purple blooded armys do not like other kpop groups and only like channels that react to only bts. And anytime a bts only reaction channel starts reacting to others groups those armys turn against them. I hope those fakes don’t influence your decision to not react to more txt in the future because these boys are very talented with no skip discography. You will not regret getting into txt.

I was surprised that you reacted to a TXT song which is one of the best songs of theirs because I know you're both a full time ARMY hehe. TXT also have a no skip album and they have their own stories/concept (though it's more complicated than BU hehe). BTS and TXT are the only groups that I stan. When I started to become an ARMY, my expectations got high when it comes to the quality and sound of the songs, and txt was the only group that reached my expectations after BTS ❤ I hope you react to more TXT songs, but I still respect whatever your decision is. I absolutely adore TXT and I hope you get to know more about them. I got into them after seeing their interactions with BTS, and I now appreciate them for who they are. Their most recent comeback really shows how they have come into their own and I feel its an amazing step in their journey (one member became a Bighit trainee all the way back in 2015). Recently they have been interacting with and mentioning BTS more, and it seems to be due to RM telling Soobin to let others know how close they are.
I hope you react to them more, though you may hear some unpleasant things for doing so. There are some people that say unkind things about TXT and seem to think the bighit should have never done anything after BTS.
PS - The best guide I have found is by beomiebear and they just released an updated one as of a couple days ago.

If i would be honest, if you are army and really used to BTS songs, you’ll gonna have a hard time liking their songs at the first place specially the early albums because the sound is quite different. I would recommend lo$er=l❤ver since that song is connected to 0x1=lovesong. I love bts their whole idol life and never thought of loving someone else. Then came TXT. It’s like loving your eldest child and youngest child. They are the same, yet different. Now this goes to the Dad(Bang PD), he’s really awesome for raising them well and building their own image while maintaining the same attitude and good manners. 💜💙
I'm glad that u start listening txt song familia. All their song is great, easy listening but have deep meaning. My first song of txt is blue hour. They're following the successfull of their sunbaenim BTS. Hope u listening their another song too 😊

they don't have bad songs but my faves are our summer, wishlist, dear sputnik, opening sequence and farewell neverland
Yeah,,its really a good song with a deep emotional meaning..Also, a group frm the same label as bts, they never miss to do doing their own signature thing which is creating a deep meaningful storyline with lots of symbols and messages and camouflaging it into cool happy sound... Hybe is really great at that.... Creating crazy intricate storyline.. 🤓

I love that even though you can see the similarities between BTS and TXT, they each have their own style when it comes to music. Same but different. I also like that both groups are given the freedom to create their own music, in BTS, well you know they are genius, top tier producers and also for TXT members they let them participate in writing lyrics and also producing even though they are still rookies at that time, and even now. Maybe that's the reason why BTS and TXT songs sounds so genuine, because the artist participate in creating their own identity in music. Kudos to these BigHit boyz.

Txt do have their own story which is so complex 😅. It's explained a little in their nap of the star video. My recommendations would've blue hour, loser lover can't you see me and run away. They do not have a single bad song
Yes TXT has a Storyline (+U) it calls Star Seekers. Its a Story about 4 Boys. Every MV with +U ist a part of the Story.

Yes, so TXT does have a storyline since their debut. In one of RM's lives, he even said that TXT's storyline universe is very complicated and even more complicated than the Bangtan universe. I think in writing some of the lyrics for 0X1=Lovesong, RM must have did some research into TXT storyline.

RM one of the Main lyricist of the song. And he is the one who suggested this song to be as a title song. You should watch the RM vlive when he did the hair short...there is a vlive he talks about this song. To write the song he studied txt story its really hard than bts story. Mr. Bang texted namjoon for lyrics.

to answer ur question... yes! txt has their own storyline tied to their music videos. i think (someone correct me if im wrong!) its supposedly in the same universe as bts's storyline because of how both universes have that cat with the blue and green eyes. but yup, a whole nother storyline !
