Is it just me, or is the music this time around MUCH better than it's ever been? I mean, WoW has always had decent music, but this newest stuff has soul and feeling that I've never heard in the game before.
I loved the Cataclysm and WOTLK soundtracks, and the song "Totems of Grizzlemaw" is still so beautiful, you will be hard pressed to beat it. But this soundtrack is for sure better than MoP
"always" MoP was abysmal. I have never felt the need to turn my ingame sound off before that trainwreck. That being said, I do agree that WoD's soundtrack is my favorite so far!
Ever since I've started playing WoW 8 years ago I have been in love with the music in the game and been heavily inspired by it. Back then, these soundtracks influenced the songs I wrote for my metalband very much, even if this music genre may seem very different than metal to some. Nowadays, I'm a fairly new video-game composer, writing for various indiegames. But the same still stands true, the music I write is still influenced by these soundtracks, extremely much. They inspired me to move from my metal background and start composing orchestral soundtracks. Why do they mean so much? Because they're darn awesome and they've played a big part of my childhood. The music of Warcraft is connected to many of my memories that I have as a child. My memories from WoW include tons of feelings, which I'll gladly put into my music. Both in my individual albums, but also into other games. I hope everyone is having a blast with WoD!
Agree, the soundtracks in WoW are amazing, and hold a big part of my childhood and memories of the game aswell. Best of luck as a composer, I can definitely hear a lot of talent in your songs!
Hi Andreas, thanks for the nice words! :) My former band (I don't play in any band atm) has not released any albums or published anything. We were more of a teenage band, getting some small gigs and having fun. Though I'd love to make some of our songs come to life for real and it's something I'm looking to do on my channel in the future. Thanks again!

I stopped playing, not because I don't like the game, I love it. The story is amazing, the soundtrack is just beautiful and you can delve into that universe and let go of real life lol (Sounded to virgin like. xD) But the community is just like any other MMO / MOBA community these days. Toxic and nothing but people yelling at you and threatening you on your life if you dare to make even a single mistake or you forget a tactic or something. Players take these games way too seriously and that killed it for me. I will come back if they make a new expansion or I see a huge content update. But only to play the single player quests. I am done with raiding. period.
+CaleoGaming 7 months ago in EU i found the nicest group of casual raiders i think they've cleared 7/13 heroic HFC. not sure. I PVP but they tried getting me into raiding, such nice people.

Could anyone please tell me where to find the song that plays in Auchindoun with the female chanting?
33:53 makes this whole game fucking epic
I stopped playing, not because I don't like the game, I love it. The story is amazing, the soundtrack is just beautiful and you can delve into that universe and let go of real life lol (Sounded to virgin like. xD) But the community is just like any other MMO / MOBA community these days. Toxic and nothing but people yelling at you and threatening you on your life if you dare to make even a single mistake or you forget a tactic or something. Players take these games way too seriously and that killed it for me. I will come back if they make a new expansion or I see a huge content update. But only to play the single player quests. I am done with raiding. period.
+CaleoGaming try pvp, the pvp community seem to be really friendly, at least the people on twitch!
Golemstorm
I hate PvP.
CaleoGaming okay ;U; good luck in azeroth my man, hope you find something that makes you happy
+CaleoGaming 7 months ago in EU i found the nicest group of casual raiders i think they've cleared 7/13 heroic HFC. not sure. I PVP but they tried getting me into raiding, such nice people.
I agree so much with you, but I play anyway, I don't care, they can yell if they want too, they are the ones who are wrong. I don't say anything but I laugh at them all the time.
