@Peter Lustig what about any of those tricks was basic? There was one or two tricks where i was like "yeah, I can do that." specifically the nose slide, shuvit out, but NONE of it was simple. I mean, how many tries would any of those tricks take you? Have you ever skated before?
I love the rough cuts. I would always wonder how many tries it took cuz the actual video parts make it look so easy. Seeing the dedication and persistence is inspiring, this is what skateboarding really is.

A few years ago I recreated an exact deck I had in the 80s and started skating the local half pipe, which was always empty because so few kids skate them anymore. Just as my confidence was growing I fell hard and really hurt my ribs. After that I had a hard time getting the fear out of my head. I live on Muai, where Nora is currently living actually, and there aren't as many options for just rolling around here. I should stop looking for excuses though and get back on the board.
